Global feast of Ghadir celebrations continue

ITALY, Rome: Celebrations marking the feast of Ghadir are
continue throughout the world with scholars and orators highlighting
the significance and philosophy of the occasion.
In this connection, ceremonies, gals and festivals are being held at
imambargahs, mosques and islamic centers.
Large number of Ayatullahs, religious scholars, Islamic seminaries
students and social figures attend the festive programs and share
greetings of the auspicious occasion.
Addressing the participants, speakers quote various Quranic verses and
Ahadith regarding wilayat of Ameeril Momineen (AS) and throw light on
the significance of the feast of Ghadir, the day when holy Prophet
Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) placed the crown of Imamate and Khilafat on the
head of Ameer-ul-Momineen Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (AS).
The functions end with distribution of sweets to the participants.
