Saudis mark Mauled Al-Imam Al-Hassan (p)

AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Happiness, celebrations, festivals, adornment and feasts marked the Mauled, or the birth anniversary, of Karimo Ahlul Bayt Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mojtaba (p) in eastern parts of Saudi Arabia on 15 Ramadan 29 October.

Streets, buildings, mosques, husseiniyaat and gateways were beautifully decorated with lights, flowers and colorful buntings, while large banners inscribed with wilayi (love for Ahlul Bayt) statements were seen everywhere. On gateways, elders and children took positions to distribute sweetmeat, juices and gifts to mark the auspicious occasion. Devotees of Ahlul Bayt (p) extended greetings and organized grand festive gatherings.

In Ahsaa, a huge festival was held attended by flocks of followers of Ahlul Bayt (p). Abi Turab (p) group from Al-Jabail, Asda-uz-Zahra (p) group from Ad-Dalwah, As-Sibt Az-Zaki (p) group from Al-Hafouf, Sada Al-Kauthar group from Bani Ma’an, Saut-ol-Wilayah group from Al-Mabraz, Nafhaat-ol-Wilayah group from Al-Imran, Nawares Al-Montazer group from Al-Mansorah, eulogists from Al-Ahsaa – Sayyid Thamer Ash-Shakhs, Nasser Al-Khalifa and Wajdi Al-Malifi – poet Akeel Al-Abdolkarim and many other scented the festival with eulogies in praise of holy Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (p)’s grandson Al-Imam Al-Hassan (p).

Ar-Rasol Al-Adham (p) Association organized a festive gathering in Omm Al-Hamam under the auspices of Al-Ustaz Abdur Rauf Al-Marhoun in connection with the happy occasion. A large number of mo’minin and religious scholars attended.

Al-Ustaz Hussein Al-Abdul Aal, Matouk Abdullatif, Sheikh Ghazi Ash-Shabib, poet Al-Ustaz Ahmed Hassan An-Nasser from Awjam, An-Nur group from Omm Al-Hamam and Ansar-ol-Imam Al-Montazar (p) group addressed and recited eulogies in the respected court of Al-Imam Al-Hassan Az-Zaki Al-Mojtaba (p). Sahour feast was thrown in the end of the program.
