Imam Hosayn (p) life beacon of light, scholars in S Arabia

AL-QATEEF, Saudi Arabia: In celebration of Milad or the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Abou Abdellah Al-Hosayn (p), magnificent celebratory programs were held in eastern parts of Saudi Arabia.

Throngs of believers and devotees of Ahlul Bayt (p) attended the programs in great happiness. Speakers and scholars in their addresses at beautifully decorated mosques and hosayniyaat threw light on different aspects of the holy life of Al-Imam (p) who sacrificed everything in the burning desert of Karbala just to nourish the tree of Islam. They termed his life ‘beacon of light’ for oppressed.

Women’s Majlis Al-Hawra in Al-Jaroudiyah has made arrangements for a three-day program beginning on 2nd Sha’ban to mark the auspicious occasion.

In Al-Ahsaa, a grand function was held at hosayniah Al-Ja’fariah attended by hundreds of people including religious scholars. Sheikh Sami Al-Barahim, Sheikh Taufiq As-Sultan, Aadil Amir, Sayed Muhammad Baqir bin Ayatullah Sayed Taher As-Salman, Sheikh Abdullah Sa’ad, Sayed Abdullah As-Salih Abou Rasul, Sheikh Habib Al-Hadebi, Sheikh Hosayn Al-Ayesh, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Ibad, Taranim Al-Wila group addressed and recited eulogies.

In Al-Hafof city, a Hafl An-Nur (celebratory program) was held at hosayniah Al-Muhammadia opening with recitation of Quranic verses in the voice of Qari Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Brahim. Renowned speakers addressed. The program ended with dua and zeyarah of Abi Abdellah Al-Hosayn (p).
