Bahrainis, Iraqis pay tributes to great Islamic philosopher

MANAMA, Bahrain: Commemorative ceremonies and gatherings were
organized in Bahrain and Iraq to pay tributes to great Islamic
philosopher and thinker Ayatullah Sayyed Muhammad Baqer As-Sadr who
was martyred at the hands of despot Saddam.
During these ceremonies at husseiniyaat, ma’atm and mosques,
speakers threw light on the heroic deeds and services of the late
Ayatullah. Films on his life were also shown.
