Israeli refusal to the call of UN, US, EU, Russia is a slap in the face of super powers: Moosavi
By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, April 11: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has demanded from the International Court of Justice to declare Sharon a war criminal and from the International Coalition against Terrorism to declare Israel a terrorist State. He stated this while talking to a representative delegation that called on him at the head of TNFJ Provincial Council Sarhad General Secretary Jawwad Hussain Jawwad here on Thursday. He said Israeli refusal to pull out its forces from Palestine despite strong demand from the United Nations, America, European Union, Russia and other countries is a slap in the face of super powers.
Agha Moosavi said if the super powers have any sense of dignity then they should prove that are falsely accused of being keeping double standards and Hippocratic attitude by taking strong action against Israel because if they can take action against Muslims on simple excuses then they should prove themselves as true representatives of all world nations by taking strong action against Israel. Their concern otherwise would prove to be crocodile tears, he said adding that if they failed to give up Hippocratic attitude then no power would be able to control anyone posing a great threat to whole of the mankind and leaving no justification for international organisations to exist.
The TNFJ chief said the Muslim Ummah should also wake up its honour and dignity. Had they practically displayed unity and brotherhood and seen the Palestine and Kashmir issues in the backdrop of issues faced by the Islamic World, then there would have been no massacre of oppressed Kashmiris, no anti-Muslim riots and live burning of Muslims in India. He said the Muslim Ummah should keep in mind that if these issues were not considered as the issues of Islamic World, and no help was extended to Palestinians and Kashmiris then they all would have to undergo a worst treatment.
The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said brutalities were being committed against Palestinians under the New World Order. He said a saying of the Masoom (A.S.) goes: A person who sees morning and evening without looking into the affairs of Muslims, has no right to be called a Muslim. He said India was also demanding withdrawal of Israeli troops from Palestine but she should also pull out her forces from the Held Kashmir and stop anti-Muslim riots. Strongly condemning the Zionist and Hindu brutalities going on in Palestine and Kashmir, he demanded from the super powers and international organisations to fulfil the norms of justice and fair-play and exert their pressure on Israel for recognition of independent Palestinian State. Terming the Pakistan Government's condemnation of brutalities in Palestine and Kashmir and Israeli pullout from Israel a good step, he called upon the government to exert more pressure in this connection. He said all States including the OIC should be apprised of Pakistan's policy. Pakistan should play an important role by adopting a joint strategy to help oppressed Kashmiris and Palestinians, he added.

Khums Bill an interference in beliefs of Shia'an-e-Haider Karrar, TNFJ AK
By: Mushtaq banday
BAGH (Azad Kashmir), April 11: A meeting of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Kashmir Council reviewed the news about getting the Khums Bill passed in the Azad Kashmir Legislature Assembly and terming it unacceptable made it clear that followers of Fiqh-e-Jafariya already pay Khums in line with the conditions in place for the last 1400 years for which there is no need to introduce any Bill. The meeting held at Bagh (Azad Kashmir) under the presidentship of Khateeb Ahle Bait Syed Riaz Hussain Kazmi who is also Member of the Supreme Council TNFJ and President Kazmia Welfare Organisation District Bagh, Azad Kashmir. Religious workers and office-bearers of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya belonging to different units of Chatthar No. 2, Dhahli, Bhangoor, Bagh and other areas participated in the meeting.
The meeting resolved that introduction of any such law or a Bill would be considered as interference in the beliefs of Shia'an-e-Haider Karrar and encroaching upon their religious independence. No such law or a Bill was even passed in Pakistan rather Shia'an-e-Ali had strongly protested the introduction of Zakat Ordinance as a result of which the followers of Fiqh-e-Jafariya were exempted from cutting Zakat and later the judiciary had seconded our point of view.
The participants of the meeting expressed surprise that why sectarians was being fanned in Azad Kashmir by bringing such things which do not exist in Pakistan. He said those who were demanding introduction of Khums Bill feel there is no Khums in Islam then why they were bent upon introducing it against their own belief? There was consensus in the meeting that every conspiracy aimed at getting the Khums Bill passed would be thwarted. They also demanded from the government of Jammu and Kashmir to take serious notice of this issue and do not allow approval of the Khums Bill.

Poems on Imam Ali (AS) & Imam Hussain (AS)
By: Shabbir Mohamed
Imam Ali (AS)
A brave man was Ali
The Lion Of God, the Prophet's wasi
His father was the chief of the clan,
He was a good and pious man.
His mother was entirely free from blame.
Fatema binte Asad was her name.
His cousin, the prophet was brought up by these two,
Children they'd had and quite a few too.
In Kaaba our first Imam was born,
Near the very early hours of dawn.
When his eyes opened for the very first time,
He was met with the Prophet's face sublime.
The Prophet wished to adopt Ali,
To relieve his guardians of a responsibility.
Once the prophet had a feast,
With a tiny amount of things to eat.
Some meat, some bread and some milk to drink,
Filled the appetites to the brink.
But the food remained the same as before,
Not any less, not any more.
The invited men were from his kin
He wanted them to repent their sin
Advising them to accept the Faith,
And helping him to propagate.
When the Prophet asked if they would,
Only Ali whole-heartedly stood.
Gradually more people chose Islam.
So they might be free from any harm.
It was of course for their very own good,
Not only in this but afterwards too.
The Quraish had troubled the Muslims for a long time now,
How they survived? God knows how!
The Prophet's life was not at stake,
Ali thought and acted straight.
He done something very brave,
Which could have led him to his grave.
For on the Prophet's bed he slept
While into the night the Prophet crept
From Mecca to Medina the Prophet had gone.
He travelled by night and rested by dawn.
Soon Ali came to Medina too,
To unite with his cousin, the last Rasool.
The Prophet made progress to preach Islam
He also invited Christians from Najran
The Christian and Muslim talked on and on.
The Christian insisted God had a son.
On this point the two sides didn't agree,
So a Mubahala there was to be.
From the Prophet's side, five people went
Five people whom God had sent,
One heavenly lady and four pious men,
The Prophet, Ali, Fatema and Hasnain.
The five faces shown so radiantly,
That the Christian notices this obviously.
And so from Mubahala they declined.
As the wrath of God came to their mind.
Ali was also one of the five under the Kisa,
With the Prophet, Hasnain and Fatema.
The Prophet loved his Ahl-e-bait.
And about them he often said.
My Ahl-e-bait are the Ark of Nooh,
The boat that will help save you.
The strong rope of God that leads to the Heavens,
From the fire of Hell that menacingly threatens.
The door of forgiveness, the purified ones,
They will save fathers, mothers, daughters and sons.
Ali fought many battles again and again,
Badr, Ohad, Khandaq, Khyber and Honain.
Prophet loved Ali there is no doubt,
On many occassions he pointed out,
I am the City of Knowledge and Ali is its Gate.
He is the most equitable judge, the embodiment of faith.
On the Prophet's last pilgrimage to Mecca and back.
The Prophet proclaimed on a camel's hack,
I must tell you something before I depart,
My Ahl-e-bait and Qur'an will never part.
But the most important thing for Muslims and Islam,
Is to accept Ali as Maula of those whose Maula I am.
On the morn of 19th Ramadhan,
When the moazzan gave the call for Azan,
Ali knew that death was near,
Yet went to the Mosque without any fear.
Suddenly a sword struck his head.
By God I've reached my aim, he said.
Bin-e-Muljim done this dirty deed.
He tried to escape and ran to his steed.
He was caught and brought back to Ali,
who ordered his ropes loose immediately.
Distrust came over Bin-e-Muljim,
When Ali offered some juice to him.
All looked sadly at the man,
Then he said, O Abdul Rehman,
If you had taken this drink from me,
Up in Heaven you'd be with me.
In two more days Ali was dead.
This was the day man really dread,
For centuries now man has wept.
While up in Heaven Ali slept.
May Zainab be blessed by Ali,
For this humble effort of poetry.

Imam Husayn (as)
Many, Many years ago,
On the bloody field of Karbala,
A noble here faced his foe,
As champion of God's Faith and Law
Overhead, a scorching sun,
There were no shady trees
Beneath a burning sandy plain
With no refreshing breeze
A scion of Hashim's noble line
The hero of your creed and mine
His heroism will forever shine
The son of Ali, God's lion
His comrades few, but loyal and brave
Some' young, and some advanced in age
The record of whose actions gave
History its brightest page
Of worldly comforts they had none
no couch, nor rosy bed
To comfort their afflicted hearts
The Holy Word of God they read
Three days every distress the bore
Deprived of all drink and food
The world does still wonder
At their unmatched fortitude
They fell around him one by one
Firm in their righteous ways
And for their loyalty have won
From friend and foe a world of praise
His friend with loving grief be eyed
As he lay dying under sun's scorching rays
To defend true Islam he tried
After dealing with foes in peaceful ways
In his arm he carried his baby son
Asked them to give him water
Said he, "The babe has no harm done
To thus die of thirst or slaughter."
Stones they threw and arrows they shot
Being obedient to yazid's behest
And in their fury spared not
Even the baby's life at the breasy!!!
A little before his enemies were
For water sorely passed
Relief he gave them then and there
For he could not see even a foe distressed
Humbley he prayed and praised the lord
The Giver of spiritual Beauty
And amid danger he never failed
To do his sacred duty
Wickedness can no further go
Cruelty needs to no greater proof
His scared body after death
Was trampled under a horse's hoof
Mean 'vistory' they gained, but still
No bounds knew their ire.
Orphans and widows they captives made
And set Ahlul-Bayt's tents on fire
The captives saw with choking grief
And eyes dimmed with tears
O the tragic sight of Martyrs heads
Uplifted high atop the spears
