TNFJ observes 'Youm-e-Imam Moosa Kazim' as Youm-e-Noor on Safar 7

RAWALPINDI, April 20: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said the world of humanity confronted with oppression, brutalities and problems will have to follow the Asswah-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Youm-e-Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.) that is being observed throughout the country as "Youm-e-Noor" on Sunday. He said 7th Safar reminds us of this courageous man who stuck to "no" to the evil whims of tyrant and dictatorial rulers of his era. All resources and energies utilised by the international Taghoot against the Imam (A.S.) could not deter this greatest personality of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), he added.

Agha Moosavi said Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.) proved through his seerat and character that we are united in speed, utterances and character against oppression and brutalities. He said we could be chained and gaoled but could not be bowed down that is why his piousness, prolonged worship and bowing down before Allah in different jails forced the masterminds of oppression and brutalities to given in. He said the whole world was today confronted with the oppressive attitude of international Taghoot, and its Zionist and Hindu agents, anti-Muslim riots were going on in India, oppressed Kashmiris are being massacred in the Held Kashmir, and the Zionists have made the life of Palestinians difficult forcing them to adopt the defensive strategy.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the whole world was condemning Israel but the super powers were backing them and were not giving in to any pressure. He said the Islamic World should keep in mind that they could succeed in getting rid of the oppressive attitude of Zionists and Hindus only by following in the foot-steps of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) as their following preaches the best lesson of discipline, and their leadership is best source of unity, struggle, success, honour and supremacy.

Toronto Ashura Procession

TORONTO, Canada: A procession of Ashura was taken out Sunday from Queens Park, Toronto at 12:00 noon. Around 10 to 12 thousand men, women and children participated in the procession, marching through usual routes (University Ave.) it terminated at Nathan Phillips Square. Addressing the procession Allama Dr. Masoom Abidi highlighted the importance of the day and the sacrifice of Imam Hussein (A.S.).

Allama strongly condemned the recent killings of Christians in a Church, in Islamabad, Pakistan. He also took the opportunity to condemn continuous killings of Mulims and said that during the two and a half years period hundreds of innocent civilians have been killed in different acts of terrorism in Pakistan."Our thoughts and prayers are with the affected families," Allama catogarically denounced such acts of violence and openly declared that the perpetrators of these acts have no right to call themselves Muslims as Islam is the religion of peace and does not preach killing human beings. One of the Volunteers of Husainiyyah Organisation, Mr. Mehdi appreciated Toronto Police's cooperation and their efforts for smooth progression of the procession.
