Bhakkar martyrs buried, Marasim-e-tazeeat to performed after Ayyam-e-Aza

BHAKKAR, Pakistan - 26 APRIL, 02: The Martyrs of bomb explosion in Majlis-e-Aza at Qadeemi Imambargah, Bhakkar were buried Friday in the presence of thousands of mourners in Ganj-e-Shuhada, near Jamia Aal-e-Imran, Bhakkar. Member TNFJ Supreme Council and Chairman Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Azadari Pakistan Allama Agha Ali Hussain Najafi led the funeral prayer.

Addressing the participants of funeral procession on the occasion, central secretary information TNFJ Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi demanded from the government the immediate arrest of culprits and exemplary punishment for them. He said: "our faith, belief, motherland and people are very dear to us. Any hindrance, terrorism or problems could not push us back from the path of Hussain (AS)."

Qamar Zaidi said if the landmark Anti-Terrorism Ordinance, issued by the president of Pakistan, was acted upon this time would not come. Provincial administration, instead of detaining terrorists, remained continue in arresting innocent citizens to fill in the columns, which encouraged the terrorists.

Agha Ali Hussain Najafi, speaking to the participants, held Punjab government responsible for Bhakkar incident, which behaved negligently in law and order and solution of Azadar's problems despite TNFJ continuously called its attention towards this. He said the martyrs of Bhakkar are the martyrs of Aza whose sacrifice would cause the promotion of Azadari mission. Marasim-e-tazeeat of martyrs will be performed after Ayyam-e-Aza (Rabi ul Awwal 8), Agha Ali Hussain said.

A resolution passed on the occasion urged the government for foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of Arbaeen-e-Hussaini besides setting up Muharram Azadar Cell at provincial level in Punjab to resolve the problems of Azadars especially.

Another resolution demanded from the government to hold forth coming Referendum after Chehlum of Martyrs of Karbala because the president himself signaled in his speech the holding of Referendum in the last days of May's first week.

Another resolution adopted on the occasion reiterated to lay every kind of sacrifice on the beck of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for the protection and promotion of Azadari, stability of Pakistan and elevation of Islam.

The dignitaries, zakireen, waezeen, ulema, Baniyaan, matami and noha khawan organizations besides Central leader TNFJ Allama Saqalain Bukhari, Sultan uz Zakireen Syed Sabir Hussain Behel, Provincial general secretary TNFJ Syed Zaffar Abbas Naqvi, TNFJ provincial secretary Azadari Sayed Nazakat Hussain Naqvi, president TNFJ Bhakkar distt Mureed Baqir Khan, Commander Mukhtar Force (MF) Bhakkar Agha Ali Akbar attended the funeral procession.

After the burial of the martyrs, an emergent session of TNFJ Punjab was held under the chairmanship of provincial secretary general Syed Zaffar Abbas Naqvi at Jamia Aal-e-Imran Bhakkar, which was largely attended by the provincial office bearers of TNFJ, Baniyaan and representatives of regional organizations.

Speaking to the session, Syed Zaffar Abbas said the conspiracy to split Shia-Sunni brotherhood through killings is vain thought of Anti-Islam and Anti-Pakistan elements, which is foiled under the leadership of Agha moosavi in past as well as would fail in future also. Recommendations approved in the session will be send to Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Moosavi for final approval.

Meanwhile, preferring Azadari, the Majlis of 12 safar remained continue at Markazi imambargah despite Bhakkar incident. Sed Sabir Hussain Behel, Allama Agha Ali Hussain, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Nasir Abbas Notak, Hafiz Raheem Bakhash and many other renowned speakers addressed the majlis.

TNFJ demands resignation of Governor Punjab over Bhakkar incident

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - 26th April 2002: Chief of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi strongly condemning the last night bomb explosion in Majlis-e-Aza congregation in Bhakkar city has demanded the resignation of Governor Punjab.

In a statement issued here, Agha Moosavi said Bhakkar blast is the worst incident of terrorism in Punjab, which is a conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan, creating disturbance and dissention in the country according to a planned design. He said "we, through a press conference before Muharram, had called the attention of authorities that Muharram is not of ten days only but programmes of Ayyam-e-Aza remained continue till Rabiul Awwal 8, after which on Rabiul Awwal 12, processions of Eid Miladun Nabi are taken out throughout the country".

TNFJ chief said that the government formed Muharram Cell on our demand in interior Ministry, and with the grace of Allah Almighty as well as effective measures of Federal Government Muharram passed away in peace and safety. But neither Muharram Cell was set up in the biggest province Punjab, nor it was propagated. Cooperation as it should be, was not made in Azadari matters, he added.

Agha Moosavi said that we, in TNFJ central cabinet session, called the government attention for special foolproof arrangements during Azadari programmes, being continued on the occasion of Chehlum of Martyrs of Karbala and for law and order in the country. Bhakkar Majlis-e-Aza where the incident of terrorism occurred was the annual programme in connection with the Chehlum of Martyrs of Karbala, which is attended by lakhs of Azadars. If our suggestions were followed, Bhakkar incident would not happened, he added.

Agha Moosavi expressed regrets that governor Punjab is being spending all his energies for Referendum. He said incident of Shah-e-Najaf Rawalpindi exactly before Muharram, and Bhakkar incident before Chehlum of the Lord of Martyrs (Syed Ush Shuhada) (A.S) are the crystal clear proofs of Punjab government's failure. The ruler who could not establish peace has no right to rule the people.

Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Moosavi strongly demanded from the government the formation of high-level judicial tribunal to probe Bhakkar incident as well as take severe notice of administration's ignorance and negligence besides the immediate arrest and unveiling of terrorists otherwise we would declare our strategy after Ayyam-e-Aza, responsibility of which would lay on the shoulders of the government, he warned.

Agha Moosavi urged the government for special arrangements during processions, which would be taken out throughout the country till Rabiul Awwal 12, so that mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S) could perform Marasim-e-Aza with respect and reverence. Expressing heart-felt sympathies with the bereaved families of Bhakkar martyrs, Agha Moosavi advised people to remain peaceful and reiterated his stance that there is no Sunni-Shia conflict in Pakistan. Certainly our perpetual joint enemy wants to make such conflicts to divert world attention from Palestine, Kashmir and Anti-Muslim riots in India. This conspiracy would be failed with the practical display of Shia-Sunni unity and we would serve all our energies for the integrity and stability of the county and nation, he added.

The support of the great Maraj'a for the Palestinian martyrdom operations

In an answer to an Istifta during a meeting with the representative of Palestinian Jihad Islami in Tehran, the great Maraj'a of taqleed and scholars of Qum in a statement they issued, they assured the necessary of all Muslims and all Islamic countries to support the oppressed nation of Palestine.

Ayatullah Seestani, who is among the Maraja' of taqleed, has condemned the brutal crimes done by the troops of the Zionist regime of Israel in Palestine. In this statement, " we, have learned this fact from Ashura that at the end "blood will win over the sword" and the stabbing/pains in the path of truth and martyrdom will win over the increasing attacks of hatred(against Muslims). Also they are clear the great Islamic goals, the suitable sacrifices, the hardships and the big and great difficulties and the continuous jihad.

In the end of this statement : " It is not an illusion that after the heartbreaking cries of the moms who gave their children and the cries of the horrified children, and the injuries and the suffering of the mujahideen, the time of victory will arrive. And history will record/write the Jihad and sacrifice of the guards of the holy Quds in a shining words as the greatest examples of patience/standing.

Also, ayatullah Lutf Allah Safi Gulbaiygani, who is among the Maraja' of taqleed of Qum, in an answer to an Istifta of "The Association of Defending the Nation of Palestine" in regard of different issues about the struggle of the nation of Palestine against the ruthless crimes of the troops of Israel regime, he answered:

At the beginning, about the martyrdom operations against the Zionists, he said: " If keeping their danger away from Islam comes in the martyrdom work, (then) it is a Wajib Kifa'ei".

Also, about the question: are the Palestinians who get bombed(and killed) in their houses, considered Shaheeds or not? , and (he) answered: " this case needs Qusl and Kafan, but according to the hadiths, they (also have the ) title of Shaheeds that don't get Qusl and Kafan".

My note: didn't know how to translate that in a better way but it clearly say that those how get killed in their houses in this way are considered shaheeds but, not like those who get martyred in the battle field, they still need Qusl and Kafan.

In regard of buying from markets that are associated to the Zionists and their interests(markets) are of the interests of the Zionist regime, he said: " if it leads to strengthening them(Zionists), then it is not permissible". About giving the Zakah for the cause of defending the Palestinian nation, he said: " paying the Zakah to defend Islam against the infidels everywhere in the world specially for defending Palestine is permissible and that is considered of the Masadeeq, and Allah knows best".

Also, he assured about material and morale aiding to them, and he said: "It is known and clear that supporting Islam and standing against Zionism is the best Qurbah(good deed in the aim to be close to Allah)".

In a report by the Islamic Republic News Agency, also the director of the Qum seminary said in a speech: " Today, the crimes of Israel in the occupied territories have shown lots of aspects, and Muslims shouldn't stay without an action".

Also, in a meeting with Abu Jihad, grand ayatullahs and maraj'a of taqleed have called for boycotting the American and Israeli goods and to stop selling oil to these countries and the supporters of Israel. according to a report by our correspondence, yesterday, ayatullah Fadhil Lankarani, who is among the great Maraj'a of taqleed, in a meeting with Abu Jihad and Hujjat Al-Islam wa Al-Muslimeen Muhammadi Iraqi the head of the association of culture and Islamic communications said: " now, the Palestinians are into the Jihad of defending Islam, and with their martyrdom operations take control (over and against) the Israelis control". He added: " In a time where we see a world claims civilizations and protecting the oppressed and even claims to be defending the rights of animals, today we see such crimes in Palestine".

Fadhil Lankarani stated: " the world of today and those who claim to be civilized, they are not only not high in the morale and intellectual issues, but also they also in the lowest place they have fallen".

Expressing his grieve over the crimes of Israel and its killing of the Palestinian Muslims, he said: " If we assumed that the Palestinians are even not Muslims, they (still) humans. They get under oppression because of their defense of their homes".

About the martyrdom operations by the Palestinian fighters, ayatullah Fadhil

Lankarani said: " they are Shaheeds of the first rank". He added: " they are as a result of these operations they died or killed and that this work/action lead to weakening the enemy, (then) this is of the Wajibs and duties, and they are martyrs, and I don't have the least of doubt about this issue".

Also, Ayatullah Yousif Sani'eei in the meeting of Abu Jihad with him, he said: " I believe that the pressure of the nations and the martyrs blood will lead to victory". He added: " the defense of people must be on all aspects. Some by boycotting American and Israeli goods, some by hitting the interests of Israel and some by martyrdom operations and fighting Israel".

Talking to the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization, he said: " rest assured that the nations are with you and they will do anything in their hands".

Ayatullah Sani'eei elaborated: " today, all of us must support the Jihadi parties and groups of Palestine". Expressing his support for the suggestion of opening a national account in Iran and worldwide for the nation of Palestine, he (directed his words to the governments): " If you can't stop selling oil, give the difference in the oil price to the Palestinians".

According to this report, ayatullah Nasir Makarim Shirazi in the meeting with Abu Jihad, he said: " The fact is, no pen and no word can describe the horrible incidents taking place in the Islamic lands of Palestine". He said: " the latest incidents in Palestine disclosed the face of the Israelis (and that) tells that they are not committed even to the least of the humane basics/principles".

Pointing to the security council(being not doing anything) against the Israeli crimes, he said: " I believe that such a security council should be abolished. A council that issue a resolution seven times and is not applied, it is futile and this work is better to be done". He stated: " now, to Muslims, the most hated is America, and (due to the latest crimes) Muslims hate America more than before".

Talking to Abu Jihad, ayatullah Makarim Shirazi said: " the fighters and the nation of Palestine shouldn't stay in defensive/retaliation(status) against the crimes of Israel, they must be in an attacking status and all to make Israel receive the hit".

Pointing out to the crimes of Israel and demolishing the houses, killing people and expelling Muslims, he said: " with such actions, America will not meet success....the continuation of martyrdom operations, making the Israeli troops get tired, and some of them(Israeli) running away are the evidences that they (America and Israel) are not succeeding". He described it very heavy the duty of scholars of the Islamic world, and he said: " Scholars shouldn't sit and keep silent, and they should exchange opinions about Palestine issues and Jihad. The scholars of Islam, the scholars of Makkah, Madinah and Al-Azhar. The scholars must boycott the American goods".

Expressing his grief over the silence of some Islamic governments, he said: " Really, it is shameful that some countries have relations with Israel. Still, the ambassadors of Israel are in these countries, and this (shows) them not respecting the martyrs blood, and Allah and history will not forgive them".

According to this report, also ayatullah Muhammad Taqi Bahjat in a meeting with Abu Jihad, he assured the need of unity of Muslims against the global arrogance, and he said: " The enemies spend their efforts in order to make differences(among Muslims), we should make our efforts to be for unity". Ayatullah Bahjat made the du'a for the victory of the Palestinian Muslims over Israel.

According to this report, also ayatullah Mishkini in a meeting with Abu Jihad, he said to him: " Today, Allah is making a test, specially for the Islamic countries. All of us see these crimes and atrocities in the Islamic countries . They are recognizing Israel, and now they are aiding it(Israel). They are with Israel, they are afraid from the people and they are ready to massacre (their) nations/people and not to say "no" to America".

In his meeting with Abu Jihad (the representative of Islamic Jihad in Tehran), grand ayatullah Sayyed Musawi Ardabili said: " the issue of Palestine is not less than that of Karbala. We say that we wish we were present in Karbala and that we scarified ourselves (there). Now, Islam and the Islamic structure of Muslims and...(etc) are in danger. If the prophet(was present among us) today, he would be in Palestine.". By stating that all Muslims aren't able to fight Israel by arms, ayatullah Musawi Ardabili said: " Wa Allah (I swear by Allah) that sending/providing weapons and oil to them(the enemies) is haram. There is no difference between those who gave the sword to Shimr(l.a) and said that Husain Ibn Ali (a.s) has been killed, and those who (aid/supply with oil) the Israeli planes and tanks.". yatullah Musawi Ardabili said that America and England are worse than Israeli(because of their support of the Zionist state) and he criticized their support for Israel. He said that the martyrdom operations by the Muslims are in accordance to the text of Islam, Quran and the Islamic hadiths, and he said: No! there is no word/deviation in these operations and their(Palestinian) work/action is legitimate and permissible(Ja'iz).".

However, Ayatullah Noori Hamadani, among the great maraj'a of taqleed, has issued a statement saying that supporting the Palestinian Muslims is the duty of all Muslims in the world, and demanded a boycott of the Israeli goods. In this statement, ayatullah Noori Hamadani said that in this critical time, the duty of all Muslims of the world is supporting Palestine, and he asked the Islamic countries to expel the Israeli ambassadors and to boycott the Israeli goods. In this report, Abu Jihad in his meeting with the Maraj'a, as showing that in the Intifadha of Palestine, there have been more than seventeen thousand injured, 2500 martyr and more than 10,000 house have been demolished, he asked the support of the nation of Iran for the Intifadha. He presented the Maraj'a a documentary film about the crimes of Israel in the occupied territories.
