Agha Moosavi condemns murder of Mustafa Rizvi, Dr. Nishat Malik in Karachi

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - 27 April 2002: Chief of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has termed the murder of former senator Mustafa kamal Rizvi and Dr. Nishat Malik in Karachi as an open act of terrorism and demanded from the government to nab the assassins and give them exemplary punishment.

In a statement issued here from Tehreek headquarters, Agha Moosavi said this incident is a chain of continued terrorism in the beloved country with the motive of destabilizing Pakistan as well as creating fear and harass in people besides proving presidential Anti-Terrorism Ordinance ineffective and fruitless. He said Karachi - the economic jugular vein of Pakistan - is at the continuous target of terrorists and killings are the daily routine there but governor Sindh remained fail in eradicating this terrorism.

Terming the step of president Gen. Pervez Musharraf of taking notice of Bhakkar incident after TNFJ called his attention towards this, as 'sound', Agha Moosavi urged the president to take step against those elements also which stand in the way of implementing Anti-Terrorism Ordinance and are avoiding this deliberately.

TNFJ chief appealed from the president Pakistan to issue orders for the formation of Muharram Azadari Cells in Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan as well as Kashmir and Northern Areas, which have not been formed yet despite Tehreek's demands and directions be issued to these cells to keep in contact with TNFJ central Muharram Azadari Committee's control rooms as Ayyam-e-Aza are till Rabi ul Awwal 8 and on 12th Rabiul Awwal there will be Eid Milad un Nabi processions; 20th safar is the chehlum of the Lord of Martyrs (A.S) on which occasion majalis and procession will be taken out like Ashura.

Agha Moosavi said we consider killings, rapacity, terrorist and terrorism 'Ulcer' for the world of humanity. President Pakistan joined International coalition to root out global terrorism but this should be kept in mind that most important than this is the elimination of terrorism inside Pakistan. President curbing the terrorists should prove practically that 'Pakistan hamari jan sab sey pehley Pakistan'.

Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan urged the government, people and all patriotic elements to show practical averseness from terrorist outfits, which want to create dissention and hatred among makatib and masalik. Such elements are not the friends of Islam, Pakistan and people. Killing of any Pakistani, with whatever sect, faith or minority he belongs, he is Pakistani and therefore his murder is the murder of Pakistan, Agha Moosavi made clear.
