Sunday special salaat in Dhil Qa'da - benefits

By: Abbas Muljiani

It is narrated from the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny) that it is recommended to pray this prayer on Sunday in the month of Dhil Qa'da with a great reward:

That whoever prays it, his sins will be forgiven

His repentance will be accepted

Allah (swt) will make his liabilities to others cleared

When he dies he will die with faith (Iman), and his religion will be intact

His grave will be widened and enlightened

His parents will be pleased with him and Allah (swt) will forgive his parents and children and will give him more wealth

The Angel of Death will be gentle with him when taking his soul. And many other great benefits for this special prayer.

How to pray this prayer:

1) Perform ghusul (bath) on Sunday in the month of Dhil Qa'da.

2) Then pray 2 rakats and then 2 rakats (4 total).

In every rakat recite:

Sura Al-Hamd once, then

Sura Al-Tawhid 3 times, then

Sura Al-Falaq once, then finally Sura An-Nas once.

After completing 4th rakat:

Repeat Astagfirullaha-Rabi-wa'atoobu’elay 70 times.

Then say:

"La haula, wala Quwwata, illa billa-hil-aleyil-azeem. Ya azeezu, ya ghaffaar igfirley zanobi wa zanooba jamee' al-moominen wal moominaat. Fa'inahu la yaghfiru al-zanooba illa anta"

"Knowledge is better than wealth because it protects you while you have to guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."
