It can better be imagined then described the physical suffering of Imam Hussain (A.S), his relative and companions in the burning desert under the scorching Arabian sun, the wriggling of the babies, nothing to feed, no water to drink a worst torturous situation surrounded by most merciless enemy in the year 680. There is no doubt that Imam Hussain (A.S) suffered a lot of physical suffering but he gained unprecedented moral victory over injustice, immorality and usurping.
Chehlum Majalis-e-Aza & Azadari processions start throughout Pak
RAWALPINDI, May 2: Majalis-e-Aza and Azadari processions in connection with the Chehlum of Nawasa-e-Rasool Imam Hussain (A.S.) started throughout the country from Thursday. Azadaran Syed-us-Shuhada, ulema, zakireen, waizeen, khutaba and Noha-Khwans fully participated in Azadari programmes to present "Pursa" to the Masoom (A.S.). A Majlis-e-Chehlum was held at Markazi Imambargah Qasr-e-Abu Talib Rawalpindi after which Zuljinah procession was taken out, which after marching through the designated route terminated at the Imambargah. A large number of Matmi Sangats participated in the procession while Zanjeer-Zans performed Zanjeer-Zani.

RAWALPINDI, May 1: The Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (A.S.) was observed throughout the country on Wednesday in line with the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Majalis-e-Aza were held at Imambargahs and Matmi processions were taken out on this occasion.

JEHLUM, Pakistan: Majalis Aza-i-Mazloom Karbala and Matmi processions are still going on. Ulema, Zakireen and Waizeen paying homage in Bargah-e-Hussaini and to the Karbala's Mujahideen highlighted the philosophy of Shahadat. In Village Aaimma Muftian Syedan in District Jhelum an annual Majlis-e-Aza was organised under the auspices of Syed Afzal Hussain Shah Kazmi. Addressing the Majlis, Khateeb Fateh-e-Farat said that Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) is a great representative of God and a leader who refused the Ba'ait of Yazid and preferred to get his head chopped off while in Sajdah.
