Youm-e-Aza gatherings slam govt mum on Baqee shrines reconstruction

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – Dec 20: Orators from Tanzeem Shia Aimmah Masajid highlighting the holy life of Hazrat Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS) in Friday congregations on the occasion of countrywide “Youm-e-Aza” announced by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Sadiq-e-Aal-e-Muhammad Hazrat Jafar Ibn-e-Muhammad (AS) termed Imam (AS)’s Seerat & Character and holy teachings a “guarantee to resolve most difficult problems” in the present era.

Addressing a Friday congregation at Markazi Shia Jamia Masjid Darbar Shah Chan Charagh Rawalpindi, Imam Juma Wal Jamat Allama Saqalain Ali Bukhari said Hazrat Imam Al-Sadiq (AS) accomplished valuable services for promotion of Divine learning and practical implementation of principles of Mohammedan Shariah. He said the springs of Islam everywhere are under obligation to these holy personalities (AS).

A resolution adopted on this occasion, demanded from the government to implement 11 Shia Demands existing on the agenda of May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement. To exert pressure on the Saudi government for reconstruction of Jannatul Baqee is one of 11 Shia Demands.

The resolution said that if the government and journalistic institutions could show diligence, ardour and earnestness for the construction of the tomb of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan then why they are silent and mum regarding the reconstruction of the shrines of The Master of two worlds (SAW)’s beloved daughter The Mistress of the Ladies of the Paradise Hazrat Sayidah Fatimah Zahra (SA), The family of Ahl-e-Bait-e-At’har (AS), Ummahatul Momineenm (RA) and Companions of Prophet (SAW)? – In the same cemetery of Jannatul Baqee, the grave of Hazrat Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS) is demolished for the last 76 years.

The resolution demanded from the government to pressurize the Saudi government for rehabilitation of Holy Shrines, and if they could not do so, permit us to construct these shrines.

By another resolution, the Friday congregation expressed full solidarity with the oppressed of the world strongly condemning the death penalty awarded to three innocent Kashmiris accused of aiding last year attack on Indian Parliament as well as atrocities of the United States along with its stooges India and Israel in Kashmir, Palestine and Chechnya.

Allama Syed Matloob Taqi addressed a gathering at Masjid Kazmia Darbar Sakhi Shah Pyara Kazmi Al-Mash’hadi. The gathering passed a resolution which protesting against the inclusion by the US government of several Islamic countries including Pakistan in the list of suspected states with regard to terrorism urged Islamic countries to get them freed from American grip and gather at a platform to foil colonial conspiracies.

Allama Tanvir Kazmi addressed at Qasr e Shabbir Dhok Syedan, Allama Qamar Abbas at Haideria Masjid Chittian Hattian, Allama Al-Hussaini at Danish Gah-e-Jafria, Allama Qalb-e-Abbas Khawarzmi at Masjid Isna Ashari Greasy Line Chaklala, Allama Hussain Moqaddesi at Masjid Ahl-e-Bait Wah Cantt, Allama Basharat Hussein at Masjid & Imambargah Qasr e Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan, Allama Ikhlaq Kazmi at Qasr e Imam Moosa Kazim, Allama Tasawwur Naqvi at Masjid Imamia Hassan Abdal, Allama Gardezi at Masjid Jafria Dhalyala, Allama Fakar Abbas at Masjid Baitul Huzn Ali Pur Farash, Allama Ashiq Hussain at Shia Jamia Masjid Hassanabad and Allama Awsaf Haider Naqvi addressed at Masjid Jafria Hadala Syedan.
