TNFJ Muharram Committee demands from Musharraf to get Moosavi's Code of Azadari implemented strictly

RAWALPINDI, March 16: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Convener Markazi Muharram Committee of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has nominated Muharram Committee representatives in all the four provinces of the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. Addressing a meeting on the occasion in the Markazi Control Room here on Saturday he called upon the government to form Muharram Cells at Federal and Provincial levels so as to resolve the problems faced by Azadars and direct them to keep a contact with the Control Room of Markazi Muharram Committee of the TNFJ.

Shujaat Bokhari lamented that the TNFJ delegation had presented some recommendations regarding arrangements in connection with the Muharram to the top brass of the Interior Ministry but no action has yet been taken on them, Azadars are being harassed, traditional ban is being imposed on ulema and zakireen so much so that even the deceased ulema and zakireen were not spared. He demanded from the President of Pakistan Gen. Pervez Musharraf and the Federal Interior Minister to issue special orders to resolve the problems faced by Azadars during the month of Muharram and get the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi implemented strictly.

Shujaat Bokhari said that the Markazi Control Room of the TNFJ Muharram Committee would work round the clock and the Azadars could contact us on telephone no. 051-4840625 in case of any Azadari problem or send the same on Fax No. 051-4410180. Members of the Muharram Committee nominated at provincial level are: Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash, Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri, Syed Shabab Al-Hussaini, Jawad Hussain Jawad (Sarhad); Tariq Ahmed Jafri, Muhammad Ali Advocate, Mehdi Askari (Balochistan); Syed Abul Abbas Bokhari, Asif Ali Bhatti, Zafar Abbas Naqvi (Punjab); Syed Lutufullah Shah Lakyari, Najam Ali Baqar, Syed Hassan Raza Rizvi, Syed Anwar Hussain Jafri (Sindh); Syed Riaz Hussain Kazmi, Kh. Basharat Ali Jafri, Syed Sultan Ali Kazmi (Azad Kashmir); and Akhunzada Ghulam Muhammad Ammoni, Syed Mehdi Shah Al-Hussaini (Northern Areas).

Syed Shujaat Bokhari called upon the Azadars to strictly implement the Code of Azadari as announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and offer Azadari rites without any fear with independence. He said the sacrifice offered by Imam Aali Muqaam Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) was for respect of mankind and survival of humanity therefore not only Muslims but all conscientious human beings should remember the sacrifice of Nawasa-e-Rasool (A.S.) with respect, devotion, honour and sincerity. He appealed all countrymen to thwart every conspiracy and evil tactic of the enemies of the religion and the motherland by actively displaying unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding during the Ayyam-e-Aza and remain alert and watchful throughout.

Auckland, New Zealand: A Program of daily gatherings (Majalis) haS been organized from Friday 15th March - Monday 25th March to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) at Islamic Centre, 27th Ben Lomond Crescent, Pakuranga, Auckland, New Zealand.

Morning program starts at 10.30 A.M. and ends with Faqa-shikni (lunch) at 3.30pm. The program will include A'amal-e-Ashura, Salat, speech and Matam.

The evening program starts at 6.40 pm with Salat, and Majlis Sham-e-Ghariban at 7.00pm.

Marasim-e-Azadari begin in Iran

ARDBAIL, Iran: Marasim-e-Azadari-e-Syed ush Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) began in all parts of Iran with religious fervor.

In Ardbail, majalis of Ist Muharram ul Haram remained continued at mosques and Hussainias throughout night in which mourners, wearing black mourning dress paid rich homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) by performing matam and zanjeer zani.

Meanwhile, Azadaraan-e-Imam Hussain (AS) and Za'ereen-e-Imam Raza (AS) are gathering in the holy city of Mash'had and Qum al Moqaddesa from different parts of Iran to offer condolence in the respected court of the holy family of Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad (PBUH & HP).
