Annual Zuljinah procession taken out under the auspices of Agha Moosavi; Zanjeer-Zani performed

ISLAMABAD, March 23: Thousands of participants of the Annual Zuljinah procession taken out from Jamia Al-Murtaza G-9/4, Islamabad under the auspices of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while paying homage to Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Aali Muqaam Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) and his die-hard companions announced their commitment to publicise the Sunni-Shia brotherhood for survival, solidarity and integrity of the motherland and to thwart every conspiracy of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan.

 TNFJ Central Secretary Information Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi announced this while addressing the participants of the procession at Muhammadi Chowk G-9/2 Islamabad.

Qamar Zaidi said any particular sect does not inherit Gham-e-Hussain because his sacrifice was for human values and for survival of the Godly principles that is why every conscientious human being is indebted to Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.). He said it is unfortunate that whenever the month of Muharram approaches the impression is given as some storm is approaching contrary to the fact that all schools of thought observe Gham-e-Hussain jointly. He said Hussain (A.S.) belongs to God and Hussain (A.S.) belongs to all.

Participants of the procession approved a resolution on the occasion strongly condemning the Azadars, licence holders, organisers of Majalis, and arrest and restrictions imposed on religious scholars. The resolution lauded the suitable arrangements and adoption of a moderate policy during Muharramul Haram. The resolution said that law and order issue could not be resolved unless the government fixes the terrorists with an iron hand. He said a handful of miscreants have put the whole nation to test and there is need to take strong action against them. The resolution called for action against the elements patronising terrorism and stop presenting them like honourable citizens, black sheep in the Administration and media should be made accountable as they were creating problems for the people rather defaming the government. The resolution called upon all Matmi Azadars to display unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding on Youm-e-Ashoor and follow the Code of Azadari announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and thwart all conspiracies hatched by miscreants. Ch. Mushtaq Hussain also addressed the participants on this occasion.

Later, participants of the procession performed Zanjeer-Zani and the procession terminated at Jamia Sadiq Karachi Company after marching through its designated route. Matmi Dastas belonging to Federal Capital Islamabad and surrounding areas participated in Matamdari. Shabih-e-Zuljinah, Alam Mubarak, Gehwara-e-Ali Asghar, Mehndi Shahzada Qasim were a part of the procession. Pak Haideri Scouts, Mukhtar Force, Mukhtar Students Organisation and other religious and social organisations participated in the procession's arrangements. 

Special arrangements for Sabeel and Langar-e-Hussaini were also made during the procession. Members of the Muharram Committee led by TNFJ District Islamabad Muharram Committee Convener Allama Guftaar Hussain Sadiqi, and a large number of high officials of Islamabad Administration remained with the procession throughout.
