Ayyam-e-Aza begin: Assemblies convening condemned By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, November 25: The 3-day Ayyam-e-Aza announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to mark the Shahadat of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) began here on Monday. Majalis-e-Aza were organised and Taboot processions taken out on this occasion. Like other cities of the country, ulema and zakireen highlighted the seerat and character of Amirul Momineen (A.S.) while addressing Majalis-e-Aza at different Imambargahs and Aza-Khwanas in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Addressing Subh-e-Gham Majlis at Ali Masjid, Satellite Town, Allama Muhammad Ali Haleemi said Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) has the singular honour to be born in Ka’aba and being placed on the pedestal of Shahadat in mosque. He said Ali (A.S.) enjoys highest standards as far as bravery, generosity, justice and fair-play are concerned while he spent all his life in defending the life of Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW), and message of Tauheed-o-Risalat. The whole world could not present any one like him, he added.
The TNFJ Central leader, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing an annual Majlis at Masjid-e-Jafariya, Dhoke Ratta organised by Anjuman Sadaat-o-Momineen said, the pious Asswah of Maula-e-Kainaat is the best example to follow for all human beings. He said after the Holy Prophet (SAW), Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) is the only personality that is mutually agreed upon by the Muslim Ummah. He lamented that the national electronic and print media was extending step-motherly treatment to a personality of that calibre. He made it clear that qualities and deeds of Khanwada-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad were recognised and those who are ignoring the same were displaying their shortsightedness, otherwise such personalities do not require any coverage. Syed Qamar Zaidi reiterated his resolve to continue their struggle for the mission of “Wila” and “Aza” would continue and no sacrifice would be spared in achieving these objectives whenever called for by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Zakir Abdul Ghaffar and Zakir Ghulam Farid also addressed the Majlis. Later, Taboot procession was also taken out that concluded at Imambargah Kashmirian after passing through its designated route.
Maulana Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Madras, Allama Shaikh Ghulam Askari, Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Zakir Matloob Hussain Kazmi and Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari addressed a Majlis held at Qasr-e-Abu Talib, Mughalabad. Khateeb Fateh-e-Furaat addressed a Majlis-e-Aza organised by Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi at Ali Masjid, Satellite Town. Majlis-e-Shahadat Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was also held at Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain. Allama Ghazanfar Abbas Taunsvi addressed a similar Majlis at Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh, Allama Matloob Hussain Taqi at Darbar Shah Piyara Chaur Harpal, Qamar Abbas Kazmi at Masjid-e-Jafariya Chittian Hattian, and Maulana Tanveer Shah at Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhoke Syedan. Allama Agha Ali Hussain Najafi, Shaukat Raza Shaukat and other zakireen addressed a Majlis-e-Aza organised by Anjuman Dehlialah Federal Area Islamabad, Annual Taboot procession was taken out from the residence of Syed Qurban Hussain Shah Kazmi at Chaur Harpal Rawalpindi in which Matamdars participated in a large number. Majlis-e-Aza was held at Masjid-e-Imam Hassan G-10 Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman Zain Al-Aba followed by Matamdari by Anjuman Zulfiqar-e-Haideri. Resolutions adopted on this occasion, expressed dissatisfaction over the print media for not giving coverage to Youm Zarbat-e-Ali programmes. Another resolution strongly condemned summoning of Sarhad and Punjab assemblies during the Ayyam-e-Aza declaring it contrary to Pakistan ideology. END |
