“Youm-e-Aza” observed in Pakistan with fervor

RAWALPINDI, November 27: The Youm-e-Shahadat of Amirul Momineen Sher-e-Khuda Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) was observed throughout the country as “Youm-e-Aza” on Wednesday in line with the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out in all big cities and towns. Addressing Shahadat-e-Ali Al-Murtaza Majlis, Agha Moosavi said Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) has the singular honour of being Maulood-e-Ka’aba and kissing Shahadat in the mosque. He was brought up by the Holy Prophet (SAW) that is why Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is the treasure of knowledge of Nabuwwat, knowledge, bravery, generosity, and is articulate. He said Ali (A.S.) played an exemplary role in serving the religion of Islam and shattered the oppression and brutality by confronting atheists, and hypocrites throughout his life.

Agha Moosavi said the life-style of Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) is fatal for hypocrisy, oppression and terrorism in every era. He said had the mankind followed in the foot-steps of Ali (A.S.) then the Muslims would not have faced the difficult days today. But instead of showing sincerity with him, a “Kharjee” wounded him with poisoned sword while he was offering Fajr prayers in the Masjid-e-Koofa on 19th Ramazan, 40 Hijra as a result of which he kissed Shahadat on 21st of Ramazan. He said Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) began his life from Allah’s Home and returned his life also in His Home.

Meanwhile, central procession in connection with the Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) was taken out from Aza-Khana Mubarak Bano in Mohanpura under the auspices of Nayyar Hussain Zaidi. Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi participated in the procession, offered Ziarat of the Tabarrukaat and took part in Matamdari. Senior TNFJ office-bearers, ulama, and renowned religious and Matmi leaders accompanied him. Dozens of Matmi Dastas presented Sher-e-Khuda’s Pursa by performing Zanjeer-Zani, Noha-Khwani and Matamdari during the procession. The procession terminated at Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain around Sehr time after passing through Kashmiri Bazar, Fawwara Chowk and Trunk Bazar. A heavy contingent of police led by high police and administration officials remained with the procession throughout.

In Rawalpindi Cantonment, the central procession of Shahadat Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was taken out from the residence of Mushtaq Mehtab Jafri in Mughalabad and terminated at Qasr-e-Abu Talib. Annual Taboot procession was also taken out from the residence of Syed Zahid Hussain Kazmi in Dhok Syedan where Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed a Majlis-e-Aza. Matmi Dasta Qasr-e-Shabbir, Matmi Dasta Shah Piyara, Matmi Dasta Joorian, and Matmi Sangat Sakhi Shah Chan Chiragh participated in Pursadari during the procession that terminated after reaching Qasr-e-Shabbir.

Taboot procession was also taken out from Imambargah Yadgar-e-Hussain ‘D’ Block Satellite Town that terminated back in the Imambargah after passing through its designated route. A Taboot procession to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was also taken out from Gawalmandi. Shadat Wasi-e-Rasool (A.S.) Majlis was held at Ali Masjid Satellite Town in the morning. Allama Muhammad Ali Haleemi and Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed. Majlis-e-Aza for ladies was held at Imambargah Zainul Abideen Satellite Town under the auspices of Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan (Women Wing). Mohtarma Shahida Haider addressed the Majlis after which Taboot Maula-e-Kainaat was taken out and Matamdari was performed.

In Federal Capital Islamabad central Taboot procession in connection with the Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was taken out from 231-E, G-6/1 that terminated at Markazi Imambargah Lal Quarters after passing through its designated route. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressed Shahadat-e-Hazrat Ali (A.S.) Majlis at Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra organised by TNFJ District Islamabad.

According to reports reaching the office of Markazi Ayyam-e-Aza Committee, TNFJ, Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were also taken out in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Haiderabad, Larkana, Khairpur Mirs and Jhelum. Special prayers were offered for an end to the problems faced by the Islamic World, for solution of problems, integrity, solidarity and development of Pakistan.
