Imam Al-Hadi (AS)’s birth anniversary marked in Pak

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – Sept 13: The birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS), in connection with Ashra-e-Mawaddat, announced by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, was celebrated with religious zeal and devotion in Rawalpindi and Federal Capital Islamabad like other parts of the country on Friday.

Mahafil, Milad, congregations, moots, conferences and seminars on the seerat of Imam Al-Hadi (AS) were arranged in mosques and Imambargahs on this exhilarating occasion.

Anjuman Jafaria, Mukhtar Force Pakistan (MFP) and Mukhtar Students Organization (MSO) Dhok Syedan Unit, jointly arranged a Mefil-e-Mawaddat at Qasr-e-Shabbir Dhok Syedan, addressing which Khateeb Fateh Furat said Imam Al-Hadi accomplished the duty of protecting and defending the truth fighting boldly and courageously with the oppressor and despot rulers. He said Imam (AS)’s life is a beacon of light to turn the veil from the faces of the enemies of Islam and the sellers of faith besides thwarting their heinous conspiracies.

Khateeb Fateh Furat paid rich tributes to Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Pakistan Agha Moosavi for declaring the celebrations and commemorations of the Days of Masumeen (AS). Other who spoke on the occasion included Molana Tanvir Hussain Kazmi, Syed Asif Kazmi, Molana Haider Abbas Abdi, Zakir Nazeer Hussain Jafry, Zakir Wazir Hussain, Zakir Ghulam Qambar and many others.

President TNFJ Distt Council Rawalpindi Haji Ghulam Murtaza Chohan, Zakir Tabassum Kazmi, Zakir Arif El-Hussaini and Zakir Qasid Hussain addressed a Mehfil-e-Milad to mark the occasion at Imambargah Zainul Abisdeen. Zakir Ajmal Naqvi and eulogists of MSO eulogized in the respected court of Imamate (AS).

Syed Qamar Zaidi, Zakir Matloob Kazmi, Zakir Hassan Raza Kiani, Zakir Bashir Niaz, Syed Joan Ali Mash’hadi, Syed Faizan Kazmi and Modassir Kazmi addressed a Mehfil-e-Milad, arranged by Anjuman Muta’allemin at Jamitul Momineen. The participants, later, cut the birthday cake of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS).

Mahafil were also held at Markazi Shia Jame Masjid Darbar Shah Chan Charagh, Haideria Masjid Chittian Hattian, Masjid Abu Talib Mughalabad, Danish Gah-e-Jafaria, Qasr e Zainabia, Masjid Kazmia Shah Pyara Chuhr Harpal, Masjid Isna Ashari Greasy Line, Qasr e Shabbir, Qasr e Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan, Masjid Jafria I-9, Qasr e Imam Noosa Kazim I-10, Jamiatul Murtaza G-9/4, Ali Masjid Dhalyal Federal Area, Qasr e Imam Ali Naqi (AS) Pind Sangrial, Qasr e Kazmia Jasol Syedan, Jamiatul Mushir Wah Cantt. and Shia Jame Masjid Hassan Abdal.

During the functions, the participants passed a number of resolutions. A resolution condemning electronic and print media for ignoring completely the days of Holy Personalities of Islam termed this policy as tantamount to snatching basic rights. Another resolution adopted on the occasion strongly demanded from the government to take special measures to keep away banned groups from forthcoming elections.

Meanwhile, mahafil were held in Karachi, Larkana, Dadu, Kherpur, Nawab Shah, Haiderabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Jehlum, Sheikhupura, Multan, D. I. Khan, D. G. Khan, Mianwali, Chakwal, Attock, Sakkhar, Noshehra, Peshawar, Kohat, Tank, Quetta, Bagh and Muzaffarabad etc.
