Momineen arrange Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS)’s Niyaz

By: Raza Ali

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Rajab Al-Murajjab 22 is that blessed day when the followers of Holy family of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him & his progeny) & Aal-e-Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon them) give Niyaz in the name of sixth descendant of the prophet of Islam (PBUH & HPP), Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (PBUT).

On this occasion, the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (peace of Allah be upon them) across the globe make special arrangements for Niyaz, known as Koonday in the Sub Continent, of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (PBUH) with due respect and reverence at Mosques, Imambargahs and homes.

Enlightened gatherings of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (PBUH)’s Niyaz took place in all big cities, towns and villages of India and Pakistan, which were largely attended by momineen-e-karam. Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (PBUH)’s Mojeza was recited, nawafil were performed, niyaz was eaten and (prayers) dua were offered for the elevation of Islamic world, success of freedom movements of oppressed nations especially Kashmir and Palestine, and safety and security of all Muslims during mahafil. Momineen, on this occasion, made vows for the fulfillment of their hajaat.

According to reports, followers of Ahlul Bayt (PBUT) residing in different parts of the world also made arrangements for the Niyaz.

"Knowledge is better than wealth because it protects you while you have to guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."
