RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe “Hafta-e-Ehteram-e-Marja’aiyyat” (Week of respect to Marjaiyya) from 12-18 April to pay tributes and homage to the eternal services and sacrifices rendered by Mara’aje Azzam in disseminating the Allah’s Constitution, and Islam and in protecting the inheritance of Prophets.

This was stated by him while talking to a delegation of Ulema.

He said Islam is a complete code of life in which no change is possible. He said Halal-e-Muhammad will remain Halal and Haram will remain Haram till the D-Day while State constitutions are formed with the connivance of rulers as a result of which they continue bringing amendments in it for there protection, safety of rule and achievement of power.

Agha Moosavi said that Pakistan that came into being in the name of Islam remained without any constitution for a long time and when ultimately 1973 Constitution was brought out, amendments began pouring in after a very short time while tyrant rulers and dictators changed its shape badly. He said the Constitution of a country sets an objective, target and a course and it is implemented after fulfilling its ideological and practical norms but unfortunately no attention was given to the problems of the people in the 18th Amendment and every political party and leader gave priority to their personal and party interests. He said that no one has any concern for the problems of the people and the government and the opposition have taken care of their own interests in the recent amendments being introduced in the Constitution of Pakistan.

He said people are not interested in the amendments but they desire equal opportunities for protection, employment, education and development instead of hollow slogans.

The TNFJ chief said that Islam is termed the most liked religion from amongst the religions brought by the prophets. The religion was completed in the plain of Khum-e-Ghadeer when the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) raised the hands of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) under the commandment of Allah and declared that “This Ali (A.S.) is the Maula of those, I am the Maula of whom”.

He said after Allah, the caretakers of the humanity are prophets, messengers, and after the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAAW), A’aimma Huda. While in the absence of the Imam-e-Aakhir (A.S.) the person(s) that are to be consulted are called Ma’araje. In the Ahle Sunnat brethren, Saha-e-Sitta i.e. Sahih Bokhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Jamia Tirmizi, Sunnan Sunai, Sunnan Ibne Maja are also there along with Mara’aje while Ahle Tashayyo follow Kutab-e-Araba’a i.e. Usool-e-Kafi, Mann La Yahzar Al-Faqih, Tehzib Al-Ehkam, and Al-Istabsaar along with greatest Mujtahideen and Mara’aje Azzam are the source of guidance. The Mara’aje Azzam are giving eternal services for the Maktab of Ahle Bait (A.S.) for more than 1101 years.

He quoted a Hadees that: Ulema rule the people. He quoted another Hadees that: Ulema are inheritors of Anbia. Definitely the people have to consult Ulema for the commandments of religion and Shariat but Ulema means those Ulema about which Allah Says in Surah Fatir: From amongst the people of Allah, those who are knowledgeable (Ahl-e-Ilm) fear from Allah. He said knowledge is the source of greatness and supremacy. Those who are educated are more near to Allah, therefore Allah Says in Surah Mujadilah: that those from amongst you became faithful, were given knowledge. May Allah keep them in high status, he added.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that during the Hafta Ehteram-e-Marja’aiyyat, commitment should be announced that no effort would be spared for the protection of religion and Sharait and the knowledge and ideology of the Mara’aje-Azzam.

Meanwhile, Hafta Ehteram-e-Marja’aiyyat Committee of the TNFJ has been formed. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami has been nominated as Convener while Allama Abul Hassan Taqi and Maulana Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri would be the Deputy Convener and Secretary of the Committee, respectively.
