Iran: Shab-i-Zerbet Imam Ali (a), first Shabi-i-Qadr observed

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Iranian nation reverently observed
maraseem of Shab-i-Zerbet-i-Imam Ali (a.s.) - 19th night of Ramazan -
which also marks the first night of Qadr (Shab-i-Qadr).
On this occasion, grand majalis-e-aza were held at holy shrines of
Hazret-e-Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Reza (a.s.) and his sister
Hazret-e-Seyyedeh Fatemeh Al-Masoumeh (a.s.) in the holy cities of
Mash’had and Qom, at mosques and hosseiniyat.
Seena-zani was performed and noha-khawni was done offering deep
condolence to the Ahl-e-Beit (a.s.) on the martyrdom anniversary of
Hazret-e-Ali (a.s.).
Meanwhile, A’maal of the night of Qadr – recitation of special
supplications, prayers and Quran as well as ceasing to sleep and
putting Quran on heads - were performed at the holy shrines, mosques,
hosseiniyat and open places.
In the dawn, Sohur meals were served.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Khamenei urged people for further
cherishing the Qadr Nights (the night in which the fate of all human
beings is determined).
