KARGIL, Kashmir: To commemorate the Martyrdom of Hazrat Abass Alamdar various mourning processions of ALAM has been carried out from different villages of Kargil toward the Kargil Town. As the Moon of First Muharam has been seen one day earlier from the rest of the world and has been duly announced by the Huzia Almiya Isna Ashriya Kargil the Processions of Ninth Muharram has been carried out on the 15th of December 2010. on this day Shia Community commemorates the scarifies of Hazrat Abass Alamdar A.S, the brother of Hazrat Imam Hussain A.S. In the processions people where seen chanting Nuhas, doing Sena Zani, Zanjeer Zani in this cold atmosphere where the temperatures dips to minimum -12 degree celsius.

On this occasion the processions concluded at Huzia Almiya Isna Ashriya, Islamia School Kargil Matam E Alam has been performed by President Islamia School Kargil Hujjatul Islam Sheik Ahmad Mohammadi and threw light on the Philosophy of Karbala and the need of following the teachings of Imam Hussain A.S in this era. In the end Sheikh Ahmad Mohammadi prayed for the Peace and Harmony of the Muslim Ummah.
