‘Mourning Week’ ends; follow seerat of Prophet & Imam Hasan to eradicate terror, advises Moosavi
By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The programmes of Hafta-e-Aza (Week
of Mourning) announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid
Ali Shah Moosavi in connection with the Wisal of Khatmi Martabat
(SAAW) and Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) concluded on
Sunday Safar 29 with honour and respect.
Majalis-e-Aza and Matmi processions were taken out on this occasion.
The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Moosavi took part in the main Matmi
procession taken out from People’s Colony Rawalpindi under the
auspices of Syed Nawab Shah and participated in Matamdari and offered
ziarat of Taburrakat.
Talking to the Azadaraan on this occasion, Agha Moosavi said the
practical following of Seerat-e-Nabavi and oswah of Hazrat Imam Hassan
Mujtaba (A.S.) were need of the hour to get the world rid of terrorism
and threat to peace. He said policy of mutual understanding would have
to be adopted to root out problems and difficulties by following in
the footsteps of the pious religious leaders (Hadis).

He expressed concern that at present motherland Pakistan
was confronted with internal and external threats; incidents of
murder, arson, terrorism, and suicide attacks have become the order of
the day; incidents of target killings in Karachi and other cities have
made the life of people difficult; and every patriotic person condemns
this oppression and brutality.
Strongly condemning blast that took place at the central chowk in
Dadu, the TNFJ chief said our perpetual enemy desires to destabilize
the country by creating unrest and anarchy in the country. Therefore,
he added, all powers should come out of the shackle of personal and
party interest and work in the larger interest of the country and the
nation so as to thwart the conspiracies of the enemies of the religion
and motherland and increase the honour of the motherland.
He said had the government ensured effective implementation of the
Anti-Terrorism Act and tightened noose around the banned groups, the
terrorism could have been controlled to some extent but, he added, the
rulers and politicians were engaged in war of their survival.
He said the country could not afford extraordinary situation owing to
present situation, therefore, he added, all State institutions should
perform their duty in line with the Constitution and do not exceed the
limit of their powers. Otherwise, he said, democracy would land in
danger for which the rulers and politicians would be equally
responsible.
The TNFJ chief made it clear that Ayyam-e-Aza programmes would
continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal after which all Muslims will pay homage
in Bargah-e-Risalat without any discrimination on 12th Rabiul Awwal by
observing Milad-un-Nabi.
He demanded from the government to make fool-proof security
arrangements while people should themselves remain fully alert and
keep an eye on the enemy. He said the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAAW)
changed the whole world through his preaching spread over 23 years and
guided the humanity with Allah’s judicial system and ultimately came
the Ayah-e-wilayat saying that today religion has been completed. He
said Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) by following in the footsteps of his
grandfather Muhammad (SAAW) gave priority to peace over war. The whole
world could be turned into a hub of peace by following the seerat and
teachings of Khanwada-e-Risalat.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
