Bahrainis grieve for Imam Ali b. Al-Hussein Zayn al-Abideen (AS)

MANAMA, Bahrain: Martyrdom Anniversary of Al-Imam Ali b. Al-Hussein
Zayn al-Abideen As-Sajjad (AS) on Moharram 25 was observered with due
veneration and deep grief across the tiny kingdom of Bahrain.
Marking the heartrending occasion, grand majalis wa mawakeb
al-azaiyah (Husseini mourning sittings and processions) were held at
mosques, ma’atam and husseiniyaat attended by tens of thousands of
mourners.
Replica coffins of the Imam (AS), the fourth infallible imam from holy
Prophet Muhammad (S) progeny were also taken out in the processions.
