Al-Imam Al-Hasan (AS) mourned in his brother’s city

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Martyrdom Anniversary of Sibt
An-Nabi Al-Akbar Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mojtaba (AS) was observed in the
holy city of Karbala on Safar 7.
Al-Imam Al-Hasan b. Ali b. Abi Talib (AS) was martyred on Safar 7
according to some traditions while some other say it was Safar 28 when
he kissed martyrdom.
Marking the occasion, massive processions marching through the streets
of this holy city culminated at the Husseini shrine compound while all
shopping centers remained closed in mourning.
Replica coffins of Al-Imam Al-Hasan (AS) were also taken out in the
processions.
