Imam Husain (A)’s birth celebrations in Allahabad

ALLAHABAD, India: Celebrations in connection with the 1427th birth
anniversary of Hazrat Imam Husain (AS), grandson of Prophet Mohammad
Mustafa (SAWW) were observed with zeal and enthusiasm on Friday Shaban
3.
Hazrat Imam Husain (AS) was born on third day of Shaban (eighth month
of Islamic calendar) in fourth Hijri at the holy city of Medina in
Saudi Arabia. His father was Hazrat Ali (AS). His mother Fatima Zahra
(AS) was the only daughter of Prophet Mohammad (SAWW).
On this happy occasion, seminars and `mahafil' were held at Daryabad,
Rani Mandi, Kareli, JK Ashiana, Ghaus Nagar, Shahganj, Bakshi Bazaar,
Akbarpur, Daira Shah Ajmal and other places.
Organized by Anjuman-e-Khuddamm-e-Mojiznuma, a festive programme was
held at Imambara Jaddan Mir Saheb in Daryabad. A seminar titled
`Shaheed-e-Azam' was organised by Anjman-e-Naqviya. It was presided
over by Syed Azadar Husain.
A poetic symposium was held on July 17 at 8 pm at Dargah Imam Husain
in Daryabad and on July 18 at Dargah Hazrat Abbas in the same
locality. Poets from various parts of the country recited their poems
in praise of Hazrat Imam Husain (AS).
