Saudi eastern region prepares for Mehdawiyah celebrations

AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Like past years, Mominin and devotees of
Ahlil Bayt (AS) in oil-rich Mominin-dominated eastern region of Saudi
Arabia will celebrate Sha’ban 15 – the birth anniversary of Al-Imam
Al-Mehdi Al-Montadhr al-Hojjah (AS) – this year also despite
government biased practices and pressure.
In Al-Qatif and Al-Hassa, festivals, seminars, rituals and poetic
gatherings will begin on Sha’ban 10 continuing till Sha’ban 20.
