RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Spiritual leader of Pakistani Shiites Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that praying for early Zahoor of Imam-e-Zamana (A.S.) is the need of the hour for solution of one problem or the other and new crises confronted by the world of humanity in general, and by the motherland Pakistan in particular because the Qayam-e-Mehdi would be in favour of the oppressed and have-nots. This was stated by him while delivering special address on the occasion of Jashan-e-Wiladat Purnoor of Hazrat Imam Mehdi (A.S.) at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih here on Wednesday that was observed throughout the country as Universal Youm-e-Adl. He said at present, murder of innocent people was going on, and no moment goes without incidents of terrorism, riot, and arson. In these circumstances, he added, we would have to pray to Almighty Allah for the early Zahoor of messiah of the world of humanity Hazrat Imam Mehdi (A.S.) so that he could root out all crises and restore justice and fair-play on earth.

Agha Moosavi said Allah sent Anbia and Mursaleen to guide the human beings and to protect them from ignorance and misguidance. He said Khatam-un-Nabiyyun (SAAW) who is the superior most amongst them is Rehmatul-lil-Aliemeen. He said the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAAW), at the time of his Wisal, had said that: Oh, people! I am leaving two invaluable things i.e. Quran and Ahle Bait (A.S.) amongst you that are superior from one another. You would not be misled until you remain attached with them and these two would not separate from each other unless they reach me at Hoz-e-Kausar. He said one of the great personalities from amongst Ahle Bait (A.S.) is Hazrat Hujjat Bin Hassan Al-Askari (A.S.). He said Saeed Bin Jabeer quoted Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas as saying that the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) stated: My Khalifate and Ausia are 12, first from amongst them would be my brother while the last one would be my son. Sahaba asked, Oh, Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) who is your brother? He replied Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.). When asked who your son is, he replied Mehdi (A.S.) who would fill this world with justice and fair-play like it would be filled with oppression and brutality. By God, if there remained only one day for world’s survival, Allah will prolong that day to the extent that my son will appear and Hazrat Eisa (A.S.) would offer prayers behind him, Allah’s earth would be enlightened and he will rule from east to the west.

The TNFJ chief said that Hazrat Abu Baseer quoting Quran-e-Natiq Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) and he quoting from his forefathers has written that: the Holy Prophet (SAAW) has said that Imam Mehdi (A.S.) will be from my offspring, my name-sake and Kunniyyat-sake, would resemble with me in appearance and seerat and his Gaibat (disappearance) would be that long and surprising that many people would leave their religion, he will appear like Shahab-e-Saqib, and would fill the world full of oppression and brutality with justice and fair-play (reference Yanabaih Al-Muwaddat). The world is keen to know when Imam Mehdi (A.S.) would appear and the reply to this question was given by Imam Al-Asr (A.S.) after going through a letter of one of his followers that: There is a saying of Allah that Oh, people in Iman! Do not ask such things which if told to you may not appear good for you. Therefore, secret would be unveiled at the time when his Zahoor-e-Purnoor would take place. He said the date of birth of Sahib Asr Waz Zaman (A.S.) is Neema-e-Sha’aban, his mother’s name is Narjis Khatoon, the period of Imamat is spread over three phases: Ghaibat-e-Sughra about 74 years; Ghaibat-e-Kubra that begins from 329 Hijra and would continue till God desires, he will be ruling the whole universe, freedom and justice will be the order of the day and the evil would be down completely; and Zahoor-e-Purnoor.

Agha Moosavi quoted a Hadees from Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) that goes: A person doing Qayam from amongst us would a person who would win success through his personality, earth for him would expand and the hidden treasurers would unearth for him. His rule will carry from east to the west, and through him, Allah will give supremacy of his religion over all other religions. Allah is the one Who sent His Rasool (SAAW) with guidance, and righteous religion so as to declare the righteous religion dominating over all other religions whether it is disliked by the Mushrikeen. No evil would remain in the world, and Hazrat Eisa Roohullah (A.S.) would appear and would offer his prayers behind him.

The TNFJ chief made it clear that before the Zahoor of Imam Mehdi (A.S.), many signs are written in uncountable books and one of these is that Dajjal, who would have one eye, will perform Kharooj and would bring riot and arson with him, Imam Mehdi (A.S.) will defeat him and he would be killed either by Imam Mehdi (A.S.) or Hazrat Eisa (A.S.). Another sign is that a voice would appear from the sky that would introduce Imam Mehdi (A.S.), everyone would listen that voice in his own language and would come forward to help the Imam (A.S.). Another sign is Nafs-e-Zakia would be martyred between the Rukn and Muqaam and there would be moon eclipse by the end of Ramazan, the darkness of lie and debauchery would take over the whole world. At that time Imam Mehdi (A.S.) would appear from Bait Allah in the shape of a 30-year-old young man and would invite the general public to Islam. He said there is a saying of the Imam Mehdi (A.S.) that goes: I am peace (Amaan) for people on earth being Hujjat-e-Khuda like stars are peace for those who are in the sky. There is another saying of his that goes: Pray for early appearance of me as your success lay in it.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said at present there is dearth of justice and fair-play, whole world is surrounded by crises, life of people in Kashmir and Palestine has become miserable, war is going on in Afghanistan and Iraq, and motherland Pakistan is the target of international terrorism. He said we would have to announce our commitment to hold the string of Quran and Ahle Bait (A.S.) tightly if we are keen to save humanity, seek development of the motherland, raise the flag of religion and Shariat high, defeat the international Taghoot so that no power on earth could cause any harm to us. Presenting his greetings to the followers of Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) and supporters of religion and Sharait on the most auspicious occasion of Universal Ayyam-e-Adl, he reiterated his resolve to continue his practical struggle for expressing hatred against oppression and support for the oppressed till the Zahoor of Qaim Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) with sincerity of purpose.
