Over one-million mourn Al-Imam Al-Hady (A) at his Samarra shrine

HOLY SAMARRA, Iraq: An estimated more than one million mourners
from other parts of the country gathered at the holy Askariyain shrine
in holy Samarra to observe the martyrdom anniversary of Al-Imam Ali
Naqy Al-Hady (AS), the tenth infallible descendant of prophet Muhammad
(S).
Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS) was martyred on Rajab 3, 254 A.H.. Rajab 3 fell
this year in Iraq on Wednesday June 16.
Security was beefed up and other arrangements were also made to ease
the mourners.
