Iranians mark 21st death anniversary of Ayatollah Khomeini

TEHRAN, Iran: The 21st anniversary of the death of the
founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ruhollah
Khomeini Al-Moosavi was commemorated on Friday June 4.
Main ceremony was held in the Khomeini Mausoleum in southern Tehran
attended by hundreds of thousands of people as well as high-ranking
political and military officials of the Islamic state, including
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Ahmadinejad once again outlined the role of Khomeini in the Islamic
revolution and said that the late ayatollah never gave in to political
pressure by imperialistic powers.
"The Imam (Khomeini) started a new movement which will continue until
it is globalized," Ahmadinejad said.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
