RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Muslim Ummah would have to follow the seerat of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) to come out of the darkness of humiliation and get rid of oppression and brutality at the hands of colonial powers, said the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

This was stated by him while announcing to observe Universal Ayyam-ul-Huzn from 12-14 March on the tragic demise anniversary of Pasban-e-Risalat Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.). He said the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) had declared the year of Hazrat Abu Talib’s (A.S.) death as Aam ul-Huzn (the Year of Mourning) which indicates that observing the days of Mohsins is the Sunnat of Rasool-e-Karim (SAAW). He said purpose of observing Ayyam ul-Huzn by the TNFJ is to inculcate in general public the spirit of following the holy personalities whose sacrifice has given supremacy to the religion of Allah because the most important responsibility of the Khasan-e-Khuda is to remind those days to the nations on which important incidents took place and observing these days to strengthen their faith and high religious values.

Agha Moosavi said that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) has the great honour of growing up the Holy Prophet (SAAW) the act which Allah attached to Himself in Holy Quran by saying: Oh, Rasool! We found you orphan and provided you the shelter. Actually this shelter was being provided by Abu Talib (A.S.) and Allah owned this act to Himself he said adding that this statement is a clear-cut argument for Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) being Kamil in Iman and being placed at the pedestal of supremacy and mirage. He said a few couplets of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) indicate his immense love with the Holy Prophet (SAAW) and the religion of Allah.

These couplets meant: “Oh, Rasool! You called me towards Islam, I am sure that you are true in giving invitation for Islam, and you are already Sadiq and Ameen. It is my belief that the religion of Muhammad (SAAW) is the best in all religions. By God! All atheists even they come together could not cause any harm to you till Abu Talib (A.S.) is alive”. History stands witness that the atheists could not cause any harm to the Hadi-e-Barhaq (SAAW) during the life of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.), he added.

The TNFJ chief said there had been a tradition to defame leaders if defamation of any Maslak, country and nation is desired and this tradition is still in practice. He said the atheist world is committing blasphemy by publishing images of the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) and hurling accuses against him. The same was done to Mohsin-e-Risalat Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.), he added. He said Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) was the spokesman of Prophets and Kuleed-Bardar (key bearer) of Allah’s Home. The sermon read out by Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) on the day of Nikah (wedding) of the Rasool (SAAW) reflects his belief in Allah’s oneness and recognition of Rasool’s (SAAW) status and indicates that he already had faith in the Risalat of Muhammad (SAAW).

He said there is propaganda that at the time of his Wafaat, Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) had said that “I am leaving this world at the religion of Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) but they perhaps are not aware that how much Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) believed in oneness of Allah. The biggest proof of it is his historic dialogue with the Christian King Abraha which is written in golden words in the history; “. . . Abraha! These camels are mine, give them back to me and this is Allah’s Home, He will protect it Himself”. After taking his camels back, Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) returned home and prayed with tears in his eyes: “Oh, Allah! Now, protect your Home Yourself”.

His true dua worked and Ababeels sent by Allah destroyed Abraha’s forces and this incident is included in Holy Quran in the shape of Surah Al-Feel. He said great researcher Abdul Haq Mohaddis Delhvi said: It is the collective decision of the Ahle Bait (A.S.) that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) passed away from this world with Iman.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi appealed the Muslims the world over to announce their support to the oppressed world and hatred against the Taghooti world by presenting pursa to Paighambar-e-Azam (SAAW) by observing the Universal Ayyam ul-Huzn. They should also reiterate their resolve to follow the seerat of Abu Talib (A.S.) and by doing so confront the problems and difficulties for the supremacy of the Allah’s Religion.

Meanwhile, Markazi Ayyam ul-Huzn Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organize programmes for the Universal Ayyam ul-Huzn. M.H. Jafri has been nominated as Convener and Malik-e-Ashtar & Haider Abbas Bajwa as Secretary and deputy Secretary of this Committee.
