Maseeraat, majalis in Karbala marking ‘Fatimi Mourning Season’

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Anniversary of martyrdom of
Bedh’atur Rasul (s) Fatimah Az-Zahra (AS) was observed across the
country on Wednesday April 28, Jamadi Al-Awal 13.
Main mourning programs were held in the holy city of
Karbala where massive mourning processions marched through the streets
and then culminated at the holy shrines of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) and
Al-Abbas (AS) extending condolence to Aba Abdellah Al-Hussein (AS) on
the martyrdom of his respected mother.
Big majalis al-aza (mourning sittings) were also organized in the holy
Husseini shrine compound marking mausam Al-Ahzaan Al-Fatimiyah (Fatimi
mourning season).
