Al-Imam Al-Hussein (a) Kharooj marked in Saudi cities

SEHAT, Saudi Arabia: Martyrdom anniversaries of
Al-Imamayn Muhammad Al-Jawwad and Muhammad Al-Baqer (AS) and the
anniversary of departure of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) from the holy city
of Makkah were observed in oil-rich mo’minin-dominated eastern region
of Saudi Arabia by holding majalis at different venues.
On the eighth day of Dhol-Hijjah Imam Hussein (AS) converted his
pilgrimage (Hajj) into off-seasonal Pilgrimage (Umrah) and started his
journey from Makkah towards Iraq so to save the sanctity and honor of
this sacred place (Ka’aba)).
According to a tradition Imam Al-Jawwad (AS) was martyred
on Zeeq’ad 29 while according to some other it was Dhol-Hijjah 6.
Al-Imam Al-Baqer (AS) kissed martyrdom on Dhol-Hijjah 7.
