ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: No power on earth will be allowed to
create obstacles in way of Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari and Sunni-Shia
brethren will protect the Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions
jointly, and continuously ignoring the Shias in State affairs who
presented sacrifices in creation of Pakistan, is a source of concern.
Awarding the opponents of creation of Pakistan is tantamount to empty
State’s roots while contacts of rulers and politicians with terrorists
is the biggest hurdle in rooting out terrorism which is only possible
if “Moosavi Peace Formula” presented in the court of Chief Justice
Sajjad Ali Shah is implemented in letter and spirit.

These views were expressed in the Declaration announced
at the conclusion of two-day Azadari Convention organized at
Imambargah Qasr-e-Imam Musa Kazim, I-10 Islamabad under the auspices
of Bawa Sagheer Hussain Shah Kazmi. Thousands of delegates from all
over the country participated in the Convention.

Allama Nasim Abbas Rizvi, Patron-in-Chief of Tehreek
Tahaffuz Wila-o-Aza and Azmat-e-Sadaat while presenting resolutions
said, enemies of Islam consider Pakistan the biggest hurdle in way of
their designs. He said Pakistan came into being through joint
sacrifices of Sunni and Shia brethren that is why both these Makatib
are also being continuously targeted along with Pakistan. On one side
every inch of the country was being wounded through terrorism while
defenders of Pakistan ideology were being weakened by depriving the
Sunni and Shia brethren from giving representation of all State and
religious institutions on the other. He lamented that those who are
declared terrorists by the Federal and Provincial governments are used
by them for achieving their objectives that is tantamount to treachery
with the country and the nation.

Allama Nasim Abbas while strongly condemning the policies
of the Jang Group said that Jang and Nawa-i-Waqt are the oldest
publications of Pakistan but unfortunately Jang always given
preference only to those elements who had played no part in creation
of Pakistan by posing them as champions of the nation. Efforts have
been made to impose a particular thinking on the nation that has
disturbed the peaceful Sunni-Shia ranks. He said Jang ignored the
country-wide Chehlum congregation at Karbala Gamey Shah organized by
Tehreek Tahaffuz Wila-o-Aza and only Jang Lahore covered this event
giving a few lines. He said most important programmes of
Fiqh-e-Jafariya are ignored while those who promote violence and
extremism find place on front page that encourages terrorists. He
demanded from the media organisations e.g. APNS and CPNE to take
notice of the biased character of Jang and we are ready to present all
record about this character of Jang at any forum. He said Jang’s
friendship with India also poses a question mark as promoting
friendship with India sans solution of Kashmir issue is tantamount to
cover up the Kashmir issue and treachery with Pakistan. He said if
Jang Group did not change its attitude then we reserve the right to
lay down our line of action.

Another resolution said that terrorism that began in
Zia’s era was going sky high, incidents of target killings are ripe in
Balochistan and Peshawar while Karachi is given bloodbath whenever the
terrorists so desire. The resolution lamented that culprits of Karbala
Gamey Shah and Quetta incidents could not be apprehended to-date
despite passage of almost two months that speaks of government’s
inability to do so. If the rulers could not provide protection to the
people then they should step down from power. The resolution expressed
astonishment that Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry takes suo
moto notice of incidents of minor nature but he does not know about
terrorism. If Justice Sajjad Ali Shah could take suo moto notice on
terrorism that why not Iftikhar Chaudhry could do so, the resolution
asked. Another resolution expressed concern over tug-of-war going on
amongst the government, opposition, media and judiciary and made it
clear that the enemy could reap the benefit of this situation. The
resolution demanded of the government to implement the Moosavi Peace
Formula so as to root out terrorism from Karachi, Parachinar,
Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa, Quetta, Balochistan, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and
elsewhere, implement the Anti-Terrorism law strictly, give
compensation to the affected families of terrorism, culprits
responsible for all incidents of terrorism including those of Karbala
Gamey Shah, Data Darbar, Shah Abdullah Ghazi, and banned groups should
be stopped from working with new names.

Another resolution stressed the need of strengthening
Mukhtar Force for the protection of Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari
processions. Yet another resolution expressed solidarity with
Pakistan’s armed forces for helping the flood affected besides
fulfilling her duty to defend the motherland and putting strong
resistance against terrorism. The resolution demanded to utilize all
available resources for restoring the flood affected as soon as
possible. The resolution strongly condemned violation of Pakistan’s
frontiers by Nato and American forces and Drone attacks. Another
resolution strongly condemned the organized movement against
Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions by some quarters and made it
clear that if giving strike calls and taking out protest rallies is
legal then why such elements are averse of memories of Islam’s diehard
personalities. The participants adopted all resolutions unanimously by
raising vociferous slogans.

Earlier, Allama Hussain Ali Najafi, Chief Patron of the
Tehreek Tahaffuz Wila-o-Aza in his address on the occasion said that
the live nations know how to defend their rights. He fully supported
the announcement of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah
Moosavi to protect Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions. TNFJ
Spokesman Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi read out the message of
Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya on this occasion. Others who also spoke on the
occasion included: Allama Nasir Abbas, Syed Madah Hussain Shah Daira
