WASHINGTON, The United States: Muslims residing in
Washington staged a demonstration in front of the Saudi Embassy in
Washington DC on Friday, September 17 (8-Shawwal) to demand
reconstruction of Al-Baqee Cemetery in the holy city of Medinah in
Saudi Arabia.



Holding placards inscribed with demands to rebuild
Al-Baqee, a large number of people from across the USA participated in
this event.



Several notable speakers addressed the rally including,
Hujjat-ul-Islam Moulana Saiyed Mehboob Mehdi Abidi Al-Najafi,
Hujjat-ul-Islam Moulana Dr. Sakhawat Hussain Sandralvi,
Hujjat-ul-Islam Moulana Syed Ali Raza Rizvi and Mr. Syed Nasir
Hussain.
Besides demanding the rebuilding of the holy shrines, they strongly
condemned the mistreatment to pilgrims by the Saudi religious police.
They demanded protection and safety to all pilgrims.
