HAL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Mauled or the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mojtaba (AS) was celebrated on Ramadan 15 in oil-rich mo’minin-dominated eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

Mosques and husseiniyaat were beautifully decorated with flowers, bunting and lights; festivals were held attended by devotees of Ahlil Beit (AS). Iftaar meals were arranged at the culmination of the festive gathering.

These celebrations were held at masjid al-Mostafa in Al-Qatif, husseiniyah Ar-Rasul Al-Adham in Al-Qadih, husseiniyah ommi Moin, al-Jaroudiyah, husseiniyah al-Hilal in Al-Hassa, husseiniyah Aal-i-Qaysom in omm al-Hamam and many other venues.

Sheikh Abdel Hameed Al-Ghamgham, Sheikh Muhammad Aal-i-Omayer, poet Muhammad Al-Majed, poet Bassem Al-Ithan, Sayed Hani Al-Wai, Said A;-Maatiq, Abdel-Hayi Aal-i-Qamber, Dr.Adel Al-Hirz, poet Naaji bin Dawood Al-Hirz, Sheikh Hasan Al-Hawader, Molla Rida Al-Qarin, Dr. Sayed Hussein Al-Abd Al-Aal, Ghadir Al-Wilaya group, Qari Salman Ash-Shabib, Adel Al-Hamd and many others addressed the galas and recited euologies in praise of Karim-i-Ahlil Beit (AS).
