Bani Assad Clan women mark Day of Karbala Martyrs Burial

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Thousands of women belonging
to Bani Assad Al-Arabiyah tribe and some other women from other tribes
in the holy city of Karbala took out a procession to commemorate the
burial of martyrs of Karbala At-Taff on 13 Moharram.
Since dawn on Friday Moharram 13, security was tightened
in the whole city in general and in central city in particular to
receive processions of Azaa o Bani Assad that mark the ceremonies of
burial of At-Taff martyrs on Moharram 13, 61 AH.
It is worth noting that this azaa (mourning) is considered one of
Al-Azaa’at At-Tarikhiyah (historic mournings) that is observed by
women of Bani Assad clan.
