RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: An important meeting of the central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of TNFJ Pakistan was held at the headquarters of the Maktab e Tasheyo which was presided over by the central convener Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari. In the meeting the arrangements of Muharram ul Haram were reviewed in detail.

Bu Ali Mahdi, Additional Secretary of the Committee while presenting his report in the meeting said that keeping the interests of the nation and the country supreme, to maintain sanctity and honour of Ayyam-e-Aza and to facilitate azadars of Imam e Mazloom Control Rooms have been set up in Federal Capital Islamabad and all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas.

The Control Room of the Central Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) will be working round-the-clock where Azadars could contact on (051-4410180, 051-4840625, 051-5876402/ 0345-5291412) for any possible issue confronted by them.

In the meeting Allama Basharat Hussain Imami federal capital Islamabad, Allama Hussain Muqadasi Punjab, Allama Waqar Hassan Taqwi Sindh, Major (R) Husnain Haider Kazmi Khaiber Pakhtoon Kha, Mohammad Ali Khan Advocate Balouchistan, Riaz Hussain Kazmi Azad Kashmir and Allama Mohammad Kazim Turabi Giligit Baltistan have been appointed as convener of the Moharram Committee Azadari Cell while Syed Tahiri Shah, Tasnim Abbas, Karar Haider Naqvi, Chaudhry Abbas, DR S Z Naqvi, Syed Nasir Abbas Jafri, Agha Behashti, Fawad Ali, Arif Jafferi, Syed Munawar Kazmi, Rehmat Ali Shah, Khizr Naqvi, Mukhtar Ali, Shahid Hussain, Mohammad Hadi, Syed Musawar Naqvi, Zaigham Abbas, Arif Badri, Altaf Hussain, Mohammad Sharif and Mohammad Jawaid will be convener for the Moharram Committee worldwide. Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari addressing the meeting appealed to the mourners of Imam Hussain (PBUH) to follow the Code of Azadari announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and give priority to Azadari over everything and highlight the eternal and invaluable sacrifices of the grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He called upon them to display unity and brotherhood and prove on the world that we are united and are a concrete wall against our combined enemy.

He demanded from the government not to delay setting up of Azadari Cells at Federal Interior Ministry, Ministry for Religious Affairs, all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas and on District level which should remain in contact with the TNFJ’s Muharram Committee Azadari Cells. Contacts of the appointed officials may be publicized through the media so that Azadari programmes could be carried out with honour, dignity and in peace.

He also demanded from the electronic media not to telecast dancing, musical programmes, dramas, and all types of matches and comedy during Ashra-e-Muharram and called upon all government and non-government organizations to avoid Munkiraat and ensure the dignity of Muharram ul Haram.

He demanded from the government to issue directives from top to low Administration to implement the Code of Azadari announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Shujaat Ali Bokhari said Karbala is the battlefield of righteousness and evil where the Imam Aali Muqaam (PBUH) and his near and dear ones have taught a lesson to the conscious people how to live and die in honour. That is why, he said, people from every nation pay respect to Hussain Ibn e Ali (PBUH.) according to their customs and culture.

Syed Ala Haider Secretary Azadari Cell, Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Qasim ul Hussaini, Ajmal Hassan Naqvi, Bin Musa Kazmi and other members of the central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell also attended the meeting.

In a resolution presented in the meeting recent NATO’s Attack on Pakistani soil was condemned and demanded from the government to show a bold response to the enemy while displaying Haidiri courage. In a resolution incident of Numaish Chorangi Karachi was considered to be the government weakness and was a result of giving free hand to the banned groups and demanded from the government to enforce Anti-terrorist Act for the long term establishment of peace in the motherland.
