HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Since the sighting of Moharram
crescent, Sha’a’er Al-Husseiniyah started in Karbala paying rich
homage to Karbala martyrs and commemorating the matchless sacrifice
rendered by Al-Imam Abi Abdellah Al-Hussein (AS) for religion, Shariah
and human values in 61 AH in the scorching desert of Karbala.
