Karbalaians mark Sibt An-Nabi Al-Akbar (A) martyrdom anniversary

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Sibt Ar-Rasul Al-Akbar Al-Imam
Al-Hassan Al-Mojtaba (AS) was martyred on Safar 7 according to some
traditions while other reports say it was Safar 28 when Sayeda Shababi
Ahlil Jannah (AS) kissed martyrdom.
Marking this tragic occasion, symbolic coffins of Al-Imam Al-Hassan
(AS) were taken out in mourning processions in Karbala.
After marching through the streets of this holy city, the processions
culminated at the holy shrine of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) and Abo’l
Fadhl Al-Abbas (AS).
