Arbaeeniyah procession march on Malmo streets, non-Muslims partake

MALMO, Sweden: Marking Arbaeeniyato Al-Imam Al-Hussein
(fortieth day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein), a mourning
procession was taken out in Malmo, Sweden on Saturday January 22,
Safar 17.
Despite minus temperatures, large number of devotees of Ahlil Beit
(AS), both Muslims and non-Muslims, belonging to Sweden, Norway,
Finland, Holland, Denmark, Iran and Afghanistan participated in the
procession to pay homage to Al-Imam Al-Hussein bin Ali (AS), the
grandson of Prophet Muhammad (S) and his 72 faithful companions who
rendered supreme sacrifice some 14, 00 years ago in the burning desert
of Karbala for defense of religion and shariah and safety of high
human values.
Holding standards of Abu Al-Fadhl Al-Abbas bin Ali (AS), the mourners
were chanting elegies and beating their chests and head to signify
their grief.
