Miladol Imam al-Hojjah (AS) in Saudi Arabia

AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Birth Anniversary of Al-Imam
Al-Hojjah Al-Mahdi Al-Montadhar (A) on 15th Sha’aban 16 July was
observed in the oil-rich mo’minin-dominated eastern region of Saudi
Arabia with due reverence and happiness.
Laylato Nisf min Sha’aban is known here in the kingdom with different
names including one Al-Qarqiaan.
Houses, mosques and streets were beautifully decorated marking the
joyous occasion while the devotees of Ahlil Bayt (AS) also lit the
candles; feasts were arranged; gifts and greetings were extended to
each other; and festivals and aamaal known as ‘aamaal laylaton nisf’
were held at mosques and husseiniyahs including husseiniyah Rasul
Al-Adham (s), husseiniyah An-Nasser in Sehat, masjid Az-Zahraa (AS),
masjid al-mas’alah, majlis an-namr, husseiniyah Abi’l Fadhl al-Abbas
(AS) and jama al-Kauther.
