BEIRUT, Lebanon: Lebanese Hezbollah headed by Sheikh Hasan Nasrallah on Thursday has hailed Sheikh Al Azhar fair stance on the two branches of Islam i.e. Shiites and Sunni brethren.

In a statement issued by Hezbollah’s Media Relations said: ‘The party praises the last positions of His Eminence Sheikh al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Tayyeb and expresses great satisfaction to the highness of its meanings, the elevation of its purposes, the nobility of its content, and the accuracy of its timing while the arrogant black-Western kitchens are operating day and night to cause sedition among Muslims and in their midst”.

Sheikh Tayyeb denied earlier the attacks on Shiites by some extremists, saying that the sect was an inseparable part from the Islamic Nation.

He also slammed the religious channels who insult Shiites, stressing that both Sunni and Shiites are Muslims with simple differences.

The statement added that Hezbollah sees these attitudes as reflecting “the direct vision and the wise methodology which surely blocks the way on all those who want to differentiate between Muslims, to tear their ranks, and persist in their occupation as well as their humiliation, displacement and insulting their sanctities”.

Hezbollah also considered that such positions are “the only way to face the enemies’ conspiracies”, as it renewed the call for more unity” to elevate the nation’s word”.
