Mashhad, Qom holy shrines host Sha’aban spiritual festivals

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Birth anniversaries of fifth
of Ahl-el Kesaa Hazret Imam Hosayn (a.s.), symbol of sacrifice and
faithfulness Hazret Abbas ben Ali (a.s.), and protector of blood of
Hazret Hosayn, Hazret Imam Zein-ul Abedeen (a.s.) were reverently
observed in Iran on Sha’aban 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
Flocks of devotees gathered at the magnificently adorned holy shrines
of Hazret Imam Ali ben Mousa Ar-Reza (a.s.) and his respected sister
Hazret Fatemeh Masumeh (a.s.) in the holy cities of Mash’hsd and Qom
to offer them greetings marking the august occasion.
Different organizations arranged festive gatherings across the
country.
Renowned speakers and eulogists addressed paying rich homage to Imam
Hosayn (a.s.), his brother Hazret Abbas (a.s.), and his son Imam
Zein-ul Abedeen (a.s.).
