Ayat Al-Hakim laid to rest in Najaf

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Ali
Al-Hakim, father of Holy Najaf’s one of four Maraje i.e. Ayatollah
Sayyed Muhammad Said Al-Hakim, was laid to rest on Sunday February 27
in the holy city of Najaf, home to the holy shrine of Al-Imam Ali bin
Abi Talib (AS).
He was 100. He died on Friday February 25 in holy Najaf.
Following his death, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Hosseini As-Sistani
went to his house and condoled with his son Ayatollah Said Al-Hakim.
Sistani left his house after 15 years. He had spent a couple of
days in London for medical treatment.
Ayaat, Maraje and leaders from different countries i.e. Ayatollah
Sadeq Ash-Shirazi (Iran), Aga Sayyed Hamid Ali Shah Al-Moosawi
(Pakistan), Sheikh Jafar Aal Ar-Ribh (Saudi Arabia), Haaj Ali Aal Bati
(Saudi Arabia) have extended condolence to his son and the Iraqi
people on Ayatollah Muhammad Ali Al-Hakim’s sad demise.

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Spokesman and son-in-law of late Marje Kabeer Grand Ayatollah Syed Mohsin Al-Hakim Tabatabai, and respected father of faqeeh-i-doraan (jurist of this age) Grand Ayatollah Syed Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim Grand Ayatollah Hazrat Syed Muhammad Ali Al-Hakim’s sad demise is a great tragedy for Islamic world.
