Pakistanis observe Nauroz with simplicity; protests held against Bahrain aggression
By: Salman Alvi
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Programs of Nauroz aalam afroz that was
celebrated with simplicity and reverence in solidarity with Bahraini
people on the call of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali
Shah Moosavi have been concluded on Monday. On this occasion, peaceful
protests were staged to condemn recent drone attacks on Pakistan’s
borders, American aggression against Libya, and barbarism against
people of Yemen and Bahrain.
Similarly Mahafil-e-Jashan-e-Nauroz were held in all parts of the
country including the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad while
special prayers were offered at the time of Tehweel. A peaceful
protest was staged in front of National Press club Islamabad, under
the auspices of Ayyam-e-Nauroz Committee of
Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya (TNFJ) district Islamabad. The
protest was led by the district conveners of the committee Allama Syed
Ikhlaq Hussain Kazmi, Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami, S.A.Bukhari,
Professor Ghulam Abbas Haidery, Z.A Changezi, Mardan Ali, Z.A Raja
along with other leaders of TNFJ. On this occasion, the military
assault by American and allied forces against Libya, and killing of
innocent people of Bahrain were strongly condemned.

A resolution was also passed unanimously which stated that the
mission of the holy Prophet and his sacred family members was to
obliterate oppression and cruelty. It was reminded in the resolution
that, in order to get rid of the problems faced by Muslim Ummah, it is
mandatory that Muslim rulers bow before Almighty Allah only, rather
than becoming slaves of colonial powers. The resolution further stated
that present unrest among the people of Muslim states is because of
the confiscation of their fundamental rights; therefore, it is an
obligation on the rulers of these states that they fulfill the
requirements of justice while the people must be granted the
ideological freedom, as Islam also advocates about it by allowing
everyone to act according to one’s respective concepts and ideologies.
It was also clarified in the resolution that had the Muslim rulers not
became puppets in the hands of colonial powers, the situations in
Kirghizstan, Tunisia, Yemen and Bahrain would not have deteriorated.
In this resoluti
on, aggression of America and its allies against Libya was strongly
condemned.
The resolution also condemned United Nations for acting as a B-Team of
the colonial powers that has done nothing for Muslims and therefore,
the problems of Palestine and Kashmir are still in abeyance. The
resolution demanded that United Nations must take concrete actions
which could assure the deliverance of the fundamental rights of the
deprived nations, while their freedom must be protected. Aggression of
many against one state is an open oppression, if Libyan government did
wrong with its people, then American bombs are not doing any good
either. American attacks have shaken the whole state. Muslim rulers
were also demanded to avoid aggression against their own people and
ensure the protection of their fundamental rights. Had they delivered
their fundamental rights, then whatever happened in Afghanistan and
Iraq, had not been repeated in Libya.
The resolution reiterated that we are against all the oppressors and
support all those who are oppressed without any discrimination of
nationality, religion, or sect.
A mehfil-e-Jashn-e-Nauroz was held in Sheb-e-Abi Talib under the
auspices of Anjuman Kaneezan-e-Imam ul Asr waz Zaman addressing which,
the speaker Syeda Bint-e-Ali Moosavi said that the day of Nauroz is a
very significant one amongst other sacred days and reminds us the
promise of Almighty Allah according to which a time will come when
oppression and brutality will be obliterated from the face of the
earth while justice will prevail.
Another Mehfil was held at Azakhana Masooma-e-Qum. Addressing to the
mehfil Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that the whole world is
confronted with terrorism and barbarism therefore, Nauroz is an

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
