Qom mourns Sakinah bintul Hosein (a.s.)

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Fifth day of Safar-ol-Mozaffar marks the
anniversary of martyrdom of Sayyedah Roqayyah known as Sakinah bintul
Hosein (a.s.) according to one tradition.
Marking this tragic occasion, majalis-e-aza and procssions were held
in the holy city of Qom, Iran.
A mourning procession was taken out on Friday Safar 5 was largely
attended by men and women. The procession marched towards the holy
shrine of Karimeh Ahli Beit Sayyedah Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (a.s.). After
reaching there, majlis-i-aza was held at the holy shrine compound.
Later, the mourners again marched on the streets of this holy city and
then the procession culminated at the residence of Ayatollah Sadeq
Shirazi.
