Millions renew oath of allegiance to Imam Ali (A) in Najaf on Ghadir

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Millions of devoting pilgrims
gathered at the holy shrine of Amir Al-Mominin Al-Imam Ali bin Abi
Talib (AS) in the holy city of Najaf marking Eid Al-Ghadir Al-A'ghar
or the feast of Ghadir to renew their oath of allegiance to him on
Dholhijjah 18, November 3, Saturday.
Feast of Ghadir is the day when holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW)
placed the crown of Imamate and caliphate on the head of
Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Imam Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (AS) in the plain of
Ghadir-e-Khumm saying: "Ali (AS) is master of all those, of whom I am
master".
The gatherings offered greetings in the respected court of Imam (AS)
and to each other in connection with the auspicious occasion reciting
eulogies and ziyarah.
