Opening of Al-Imam Al-Hussein new Zarih in holy Qom

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: New Zarih (net on the grave) for the holy
grave of Al-Imam Abi Abdllah Al-Hussein (AS) has been completed in the
holy city of Qom in four years.
The holy zarih, weighing 12 ton, is made of gold, silver, bronze and
other metals. 120 kg gold and 4.5 kg silver has been used in it. Names
of twelve imams from the holy progeny of prophet Muhammad (s), names
of two sons of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) i.e. Ali Al-Akbar and Ali
Al-Asghar along with some Quranic verses are engraved on the net.
The opening of the sacred zarih was held on the auspicious occasion of
Al-Imam Ali bin Mussa Ar-Ridha (AS).
The Zarih will be sent to the holy city of Karbala in 40-day travel
passing through different cities and towns. It is expected that the
zarih will reach in early Safar and will be fixed after Arbaeen Safar
20. The old zarih will be kept in Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) museum.
