A’immah tol Baqi shrines demolition mourned in Karbala

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Marking Shawal 8, the tenth
month of lunar calendar, big protest rallies were held in the holy
city of Karbala.
Shawal 8 is that mourning day when about 90 years back, the then Saudi
rulers bulldozed the holy shrines of A’immah tol Baqee in the sacred
graveyard of Al-Baqi in the holy city of Medinah.
The protestors holding big banners and doing aza o latam offered
condolence to Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) and Abo’l Fadhl Al-Abbas (AS).
They demanded reconstruction of the shrines.
