Massive celebrations in Karbala to mark b-days of ‘Aqmaar al-Muhammadiyah’

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Celebrations marking the birth
anniversaries of Aqmaar al-Muhammadiyah (moons of Muhammad) namely
Al-Imam Al-Hussein, Al-Abbas and Al-Imam Zeyn Al-Abidin (peace be upon
them all) that fall in the first week of Sha’ban (3-5), were being
held in the holy city of Karbala.
These will continue till 7 Sha’aban (June 17).
Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from inside an outside the country
came to the holy city to celebrate these auspicious occasions.
