Al-Imam Al-Hadi martyrdom day commemoration in Najaf, Karbala, Kadhamiyah

HOLY CITIES OF NAJAF/KADHAMIYAH/KARBALA, Iraq: Massive
mourning ceremonies i.e. majalis wa mawakib al-azaiyah (mourning
sittings and processions) were held at the holy shrines of Al-Imam Ali
b. Abi Talib (AS), Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS), Abo’l Fadhl Al-Abbas (AS),
Al-Imam Mussa Al-Kadhim (AS) and Al-Imam Muhammad Taqi Al-Jawwad (AS)
in the holy cities of Najaf, Karbala and Kadhamiyah marking the
martyrdom anniversary of Al-Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS).
Al-Imam Al-Hadi (AS) was martyred on Rajab 3 which fell this year on
May 14 in Iraq and some other countries.
Rich homage was paid to the Imam (AS) who sacrificed his life in the
way of Allah for His holy mission. Elegies were recited and aza o
latam was performed to mourn th Imam (AS).
In Al-Kadhamiyah, a grand procession was taken out from husseiniyah
aal-i-Sadr which culminated at the holy shrine of Al-Imam Mussa
Al-Kadhim (AS).
